We wanted to get an idea of what it would cost to replace the majority of the windows on our 1977 built home. Adrian was thorough and very easy to talk to. Really good at his job.

I met with Adrian from Champion Windows yesterday and was genuinely impressed. He arrived on time, was courteous, and—most importantly—took the time to listen to what I wanted. There was no pressure to add products or features I didn’t need. Adrian also collaborated with his supervisor to make sure the proposal fit my budget, which I really appreciated. I felt heard and respected at every step, and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Champion Windows.

I do not recommend using this company at all. Stay far away. The installers came and basically destroyed the house - they ripped out trim that could have stayed, destroyed paint and drywall, messed up outlets, and broke window frames. The installation was poor - sills weren't wrapped; noise, air, and dirt got in like you were outside; the 'new' trim was wrong for the windows, installed poorly and unevenly, and not even flush with the wall; and two of the windows didn't open and close. It took dozens of calls to champion and more than a month living in dust and grossness to get them to come out and see it and acknowledge the completely failed install. It took another week and some change to get them to schedule a reinstall. The reinstall was also a disaster - while the work was higher quality, it was unpredictable, unsafe, and ultimately never finished. By unpredictable, I mean that we were told it would take one day, and it took four - each time it being extended at the end of the day and not at the beginning. By unsafe, I mean that they changed people coming each time and it wasn't clear who we would expect when. By unfinished, I mean that some of the drywall and outlet damage that they did remains and the outside wrapping remains incomplete. I looked for a settlement with the company - where the supplies that I had to buy for them, the extra time I had to take off of work because they tore up my house and misinstalled the windows the first time, and the remaining unfinished work was accounted for. I can only describe their reaction as a combination of condescending and bullying - they repeated that it is their company policy not to give "discounts and reimbursements" - even though I was asking for neither - I was asking for them to compensate me for the harm done to me. I was yelled at, talked slow to, and interrupted, treated as if my time and money were worthless. For example, when I said it took me several dozen calls to get them to come out, the manager told me that "this is a corporation. all corporations take weeks to get on the phone. how long does it take you to get your cable company on the phone?" When I responded that I can get my cable company on the phone in less than ten minutes, I was interrupted and told that he "wouldn't keep listening to my silly arguments." All in all, I spent more than 100 hours -getting- a reinstall and then trying to make it happen; I got misled, yelled at, and abused. While I now have -most- of what I ordered (I can't un-destroy the things they destroyed, and they're not all fixed), it was not what I paid for (getting windows, and getting them installed, minus house destruction and weeks and weeks of trying to get their attention).

David Cox was wonderful. I had such a great time. He made everything entertaining and very informative.

Installer was good, however the customer service after the fact is HORRIBLE. Advise... check the Better Business Bureau website before ever hiring this company in Greensboro.

The salesman John said to hire them instead of two guys and a truck. He looked forward to working with us. The crew will repair any wood under the siding. The siding was installed by two guys with a truck and it’s buckling and falling off. Jennifer from Champion is very helpful & kind over the phone. John & Micah (real nice guys) have been back 3 times & it will be 4. They come & try to repair the mistakes. It has been 10 months. John can’t be reached. The siding was removed on front and I have to find out why it’s uneven under where they installed the siding. Once I level it up, they’ll come back and reside it. It’s all uneven and it keeps popping out on the top. This is taking forever and I think the first installers messed it up.

I am very happy with the work performed by Champion. Job is not complete because one window came in broken, that is expected to be in in a week or so. Also the electrician has some work to perform, I have no doubt that all this work will be done as soon as they get the parts. This is the 2nd sunporch Champion has built for me. I was very happy with the first or I would not have got them for the 2nd, Vincent Regan was my salesman, whom I was very satisfied with. The installation crew did a very good job, and I am very happy with my new sunroom. I would most definitely recommend Champion to anyone.

These sunrooms are about double in price of what they should be in my opinion. We had one installed and it is nice but I feel not worth the money I paid. Beware buying from them. Make sure you get multiple estimates before you purchase. I would RUN AWAY fast from Champion. If I had the option to return my sunroom for a refund I would. The sales are like most sales, they promise you everything under the sun and then the installer gets out there and it is a totally different story. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Also they charged my account for half the total upfront before they came out 6 weeks later. I dont mind fronting for materials but from debit to start time was too long for me. So I was paying for something I didn't even have yet.

It took one day to complete.
