"Nathan and his crew did a fantastic job. Amazed at how fast they took the trees down - especially a big tree at the side of the house. And their remote control stump grinder made short work of the leftover tree stumps & roots. Professional, friendly guys and they cleared up everything when they were finished. Even wood chips that bounced onto the deck. We recommend them 100% for excellent work and value for money. Thanks guys. 5 Stars all the way."

"Large oak tree over my roof was removed with care and precision ! Very talented climber and is amazing with ropes and pulleys. The entire crew were very hard working and knows what needs to be done. They even smoothed out all the gravel in my driveway and itâ s better than before they arrived. If you need bug tree work done I highly recommend Dagwood Tree Service."

"The job went very well. The crew showed up right on time and went to work. They were very good about letting me point out exactly what limbs I wanted removed. They removed just the right amount of foliage to get the effect I wanted. After the trimming was finished, they did a great job cleaning up. I will definitely hire them again if I need more tree work."

"What great brothers and absolutely the best at what they do! They cut trees down, cleared under brush, made a steep slope not so steep, planted grass, pulled some bushes up. Graded around a 60x40 concrete pad and leveled it until it was even and then put gravel around the entire pad. We both are loving the way everything looks and turned out! Thank you Zack and Patrick! We will definitely use your company again!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Salt, herbicide, light deprivation, boiling water, and burning can all help dissolve a tree stump. You can also bury the tree stump in soil or mulch to help it rot naturally. Killing a tree stump prevents future regrowth, but you may also remove it by digging it out or grinding it.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

The best time to transplant a tree is when it is dormant. For many trees, this means either in the fall after the leaves have dropped (around October or November) or in early spring before new growth begins (around March). The ideal timing can depend on the type of tree. Deciduous trees do well when moved in early spring or fall, while evergreens are best transplanted in early spring or late summer. For example, pine trees are best moved in early fall, but maples prefer late fall. Avoid transplanting in winter, as the frozen or hard, cold soil poses a significant risk to the roots and prevents the tree from acclimating properly.

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.

Yes, you should trim the lower branches of your maple tree for safety. Trimming maple trees as they grow helps lift the crown and canopy and trains it to grow straight up. A good rule of thumb is to prune enough branches to leave 6 feet of clearance under the tree.
