He was quick to respond and very professional and proficient in his job. He even spread grass seed over the dirt that was exposed.

I would hire him again and recommend him for any job. Russell was very friendly and professional. He was quick to respond to our request and got our job done quickly. He even spread some grass seed on the dirt that was exposed. We had him install a drainage pipe for water run off.

The job really entailed scraping a gravel road to make it smooth. Job was done well.

I would highly recommend Mr. Patterson for grading/resloping driveways. He contacted me immediately regarding my driveway needs and completed the work efficiently and ahead if schedule.

Remove old metal culvert and replace with new plastic culvert. He was quick and did a great job. He will return in couple of months to repave that part of the road after the fill dirt has settled.

He damaged a sewage line refuses to take ownership but agreed to *patch* the line. This was not an actual repair the couples sewage line has been leaking and spraying over the property. I have contacted Randy but his response has not been positive he states: * I fixed the pipe. But I do not think I busted it. I have nothing to do with that.* Would not recommend this business to anyone.

Did not complete trim around deck which they removed and said they would replace in the quote, I did this myself. And did not remove old used lumber as stated they would in quote I waited for 10 days and finally removed it myself. The actual decking looks good I have no complaints about the work they completed, they just did not finish the job. I realize he is very busy but I never even received a phone call saying when he would return.

I hired Patterson excavation to excavate and install a french drain. Randall did an amazing job. He went above and beyond what was asked. He kept me completely informed of the the process and the work being done. I will be using his services again for another project.

Within 15 minutes of posting the job on HomeAdvisor, Randy was at our property. On a Sunday! He gave us ideas to reduce the erosion and drainage issues at our home. The price was right where we expected, he showed up exactly when he said he would and completed the job on time. High quality workmanship!

Randy started the job on time and seemed to be knowledgeable. The French drain was installed and dirt moved to regrade the property.The French drain seems to be working as much as it is able but the property grading has allowed more water to run toward the house than we previously experienced before installing the drain. During the first heavy rain we had a "stream" running straight toward the house, pooling at the foundation. After numerous calls and messages, Randy returned to look at the problem while it was raining and stated he would return in a few days to see about fixing it. He did not return or contact us until we asked HomeAdvisor to intervene. Randy then came out and moved some dirt around by hand but stated he would have to come back when it was dry and he could use his tractor. We have upgraded the review to 3 stars for customer service since he finally contacted us and has promised to return. All of our frustration could have been eased if Randy would have provided better communication (which he acknowledged at his last visit). Since he has not been able to come back because of the abundance of rainfall we are experiencing, he cannot complete whatever he intends to do to fix the problem. We cannot give a final rating on work promised to be done. We paid cash when the work was "finished" but that first heavy rain revealed the grading issue.

Randy Patterson did everything he had promised us he would do when he came out to give us our estimate. We are so pleased with his road re-sloping and grading that we have told other communities about his excellent work. We highly recommend Patterson Excavation, Randy was on time, professional, patient and knew exactly what to do for our roads. We will be using Patterson Excavation in the future to maintain the roads in our community.

Mr. Patterson was prompt and delivered on his word. Not many left in this world like Mr. Patterson. Honest and hard working, his word and his morals as a man is excellent. Would do business with him on a hand shake alone. Recommend him highly! It was a privilege meeting him.
