"Very professional. I had 3 trees very very tall trees, limbs grown together, a power line involved, and a fence to protect. They came on-time, had necessary equipment, and worked carefully and quickly. Clean-up was excellent. Only negative, they had to cut a tree which I loved and they didn't ask me...it was just gone. However they replaced it that day. They made it right."

Small jobs welcome

"TC and his crew were on time and very professional and very easy to work with. They took a rather large maple down and cleaned up every branch and twig before leaving. I was very impressed with them and would highly recommend TC and his crew to anyone that needs friendly, professional tree work done."

"Not only did Jesse, Derrick and Matt provide excellent trimming of a number of trees on our property but they went above and beyond by keeping us up to date on progress and making sure they were doing exactly what we wanted to have done. Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Late August, September, and mid-October are the ideal months for planting a young tree. However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.

Costs depend on tree height, trunk diameter, removal complexity, and required equipment.

Trees that flower in the spring—like dogwood, cherry, magnolia, and pear—should not be pruned during the winter. These spring-flowering plants grow buds on old growth, so you’ll actually remove what would’ve been gorgeous flowering foliage. Instead, wait to prune until right after they bloom, when the flowers fade.

The depth of tree roots depends on the species. Trees like oaks and maples can have root systems that grow down 20 feet or more. However, trees that grow in shallow soils will have roots that go only a few feet down. Research how your tree species grows in your climate area to estimate root depth.

Pruning trees during the summer can be a bad idea because the new growth will take place during the hottest months of the year, which can stress your tree out. Similarly, pruning during the early fall can be a bad idea, too, because you’d be stimulating new growth when most trees are aiming to go dormant.

Pruning recommendations will vary by the type of tree, but generally, waiting until winter to prune your trees is a good idea.
