"The experience went very well. Very professional. Punctual and kind. I believe his name was Alberto, my appointment was at 9 they called at 830 and asked if he could come about 845. Showed up was kind and courteous. He did a basketball ball court for my boys. Told me to stay clear for a couple days and he came out and took the ropes off and it was all good to go. So thank you I am a very pleased person. If anyone needs concrete work done I would say to hire AH concrete. Very reasonable pricing as well."

"Concrete Uprising was not who I needed for my project, but what I can say is Steve contacted me very quickly to discuss our needs. He was up front in telling me they were not the people for the job and he made a solid recommendation of another company who does the kind of concrete work we are looking for. Would definitely recommend Concrete Uprising."

"I am very satisfied with my new driveway and retaining wall by International Concrete LLC. Mohammed, the owner/operator qouted a fair price and made good on the terms of our agreement. Once the work began, the job proceeded rapidly to conclusion. My job involved some grading work and a retaining wall which turned out nice and adds an attractive feature to my property. I had a few questions and requests along the way which were accommodated and proved that Mohammed was committed to seeing that I was completely satisfied with the end result. If you're looking for value, quality and flexibility with your concrete renovation then I highly recommend International Concrete."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

There is no real alternative to underpinning, although mudjacking and polyjacking are other repair methods that can add support from underneath your foundation. Rather than placing supportive piers under your structure, these involve pumping a material under your slab to lift a sunken section back into its original position. Polyjacking, in particular, is sometimes a suitable solution for stabilization issues under slab foundations, but underpinning is often accepted as the best and most permanent solution.
