You really get what you pay for. It was definitely more money than I wanted to spend on window treatments but after putting these up, I do not regret it a bit. Every shade I purchased fit each window exactly. Five stars for the service. I wasn't sure which fabric to choose from. Select Blinds sent free samples and each sample listed what styles is offered for each pattern. The samples arrived quickly and once I ordered my shades, I recieved updates regularly. The shades even arrived earlier than expected. I would highly recommend Select Blinds in the future to any person looking for window treatments. I am looking at shade options for my back porch now because I am so happy with my first order. I will be shopping here more
- American Craftsmen of NCI needed to get new siding and called around for several bids. A couple of bigger companies came out and I felt like they were talking down to me because I was a single female. One owner was even trying to make me feel I had made a big mistake when I had decided not to go with his company who had a fancy showroom. He even warned me about accepting the job from someone who worked without a showroom. When Rodney came to give his estimate, he gave the impression that he was just looking to get the job and I felt like I was treated like any other person. He sent Mike and Mike to come and install the windows and then they stayed to do all the trim and siding, and finally gutters were put up. The whole event took 2 weeks and fit exactly in the time line we set up. Mike and Mike were great and did such a good job. The trim work is remarkable and the guys did amazing work. They were very nice--answered any questions I had, didn't mind if people watched them work, spoke with any neighbors who stopped by who were curious. I felt comfortable leaving them alone to work when I had to leave the house. Rodney came out every day to make sure that I was happy with the work and addressed any minor concerns I had during the process. He called before the work started and after it was completed to check in. Any minor problems that came up he quickly fixed. Even though I was very stressed at the beginning of the job (did I hire the right person, did I choose the right colors, products) once all the materials started to arrive and the work began I was very glad I picked the contractor that I did. There was never any doubt in my mind Rodney would not resolve any minor problems that came up. The final price was exactly what the estimate said (and was the best price!) and he only got paid when I was happy with the completed work

"Project went well. There are always challenges that arise with any project and how the company you contract with handles those challenges is key to the combined success.
