Harland Windows & Siding

We hired Harland Windows and Siding for a 400 sqft sunroom construction project with large windows and transoms. This was a big project for us, and we’re happy with the outcome. The workmanship is solid, the crew was friendly, and the pricing was competitive. Like with any large project, there were some miscommunication issues, but we worked through them, and Harland handled the final walkthrough professionally. They also followed up and replaced a cracked window without issue. Overall, we had a positive experience and would recommend them.

Everything went as expected.  The roof was done in one day with minimal disruption.  Harland himself, came over afterwards to make sure everything was cleaned up appropriately.  He swept our yard with a large magnet to make sure there were no stray nails, etc. 
The gutters were installed the next Sunday and all went well with that too.  The only issue is, for the gutters, we were told it would take about two and a half hours and it actually took six. Again, Harland came out to inspect the work and make sure everything was cleaned up.
For both the roof and the gutter installation the workers were professional and pleasant.

We have been extremely pleased with the service. We highly recommend him. A piece was left out of the sliding glass door kit and when we mentioned the issue they figured out what happened and fixed it immediately. He has always been thorough, neat, on time, dependable and very competitive with his pricing. At this point we always call him for his products and don't even shop around. We have spent $17,000 across two houses and multiple projects.

The original work went well and we were quite pleased. The installer (Mr. Kirk) was terrific -- a real craftsman. Our only point of dissatisfaction was getting a complete response to our concern about a couple of the windows that seem to stick when we try to open and close them.

Our house is about 19 years old and had the original masonite siding in addition the decking and rails on our deck needed to be replaced.
We were very pleased with the work done by Harland Windows and Siding. Harland came on site and looked at our windows, siding and deck. After inspecting the house, Harland recommended that we keep our windows, replace about a third of our siding and replace the decking and rails. He got us a quote the same day.
We decided to replace all of our siding with HardiePlank and to get the decking and rails done. We also had the house painted. Harland commited to a three week time frame and the crew was on site within the new few days. The crew was friendly and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves every day.
Proper permits were obtained. The old siding was removed and disposed of at the end of each day. They applied a new Tyvek barrier and replaced any trim that was weather damaged. The new HardiePlank siding was installed and the house was caulked and painted. The crew then removed all of the decking and rails from the deck and replaced. They used extra long planks so that the decking would not need multiple board per length, so there are no cuts/seams on the deck. The new railing was installed using 4x4 supports instead of the 2x4s used previously making it much sturdier.
The job was completed several days early and the looks great.
