"The workers arrived on time the day the work was to
begin. They worked for a few hours before the city inspector declared that the electrical
was too close to the gas line. (this was put in by the power company). The
whole project was held up for4-5 days waiting for the power company to return
and move their line. HUTCHINSON made every effort to come back and finish the
project and they worked around the power company schedule. When work was ready
to proceed they showed up early as I requested so we could talk before I left
for work. They had a good idea to take the line in through the garage over hang
and come out near the house. This help to reduce the amount of pvc pipe on the outside
of the house, which was a concern of mine.
They worked until the job was done. They made an effort to communicate with the
people who were going to side the house when they were done so that the siding
would fit around the electrical work.
The owner gave me his personal cell number so I could contact him when needed.
I have since invited them back to bid work to get electrical to a gas fire place.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
