"cooper was our installer. He was veryprofessional and did excellent work. The job he did looks great. What a great employe he is for bath fitter. Better than five star. The only problem I have is I ended up with a shower without a corner shelf or soap dish. This is the first shower I have seen with out these. Gary White"

"Blake & Brian came and explained everything for my roof. It was in bad shape and they showed me a lot that other roofers missed. I knew the others seemed too good to be true and missed a ton of stuff. Blake & Brian worked hard to make it affordable and fit within my budget. Super excited to get my roof replaced by an amazing contractor"

Customers say: Quick response

"Jake and team did a fantastic job finishing our basement. He did a phenomenal job tinkering with his quote to hit our target budget while still providing ample room to get quality bathroom hardware (faucets, tile flooring, countertops, etc). His focus on accomplishing a quality job shines through - he even went so far as to point out an error he made after everything was completed: a closet door opened to the left and blocked the light switch for the closet - the switch should've been on the right side for easy access. It would've been so easy to just pretend it was fine and the annoyance would be ours to deal with - but no, Jake fixed the issue (door opens to the right now) at no extra cost to us. Simply phenomenal. His contractors were also polite and professional. And when the contractors damaged some of our personal items, Jake ensured those items were fixed or replaced. We fully intend to contact Jake again whenever we're ready to remodel the rest of the house!"

"not to good :( I felt I did most of the work by providing all the details floor plans and colors.  What I got back was only two floor plans and some websites to purchase living room deco and some paint samples. Not enough for the money I paid. It also took a month or so before I received these things too.

"After I approved the drapes, I was sent an invoice for $700. I paid the invoice. It's been over a year and despite numerous emails (over a dozen) with Amanda Zettel of Homemade Design, I still have not received the drapes or a refund. I was very satisfied with all of Homemade Design's work up until this experience."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

The water supply lines run underneath the bathtub. These two pipes deliver cold and hot water to the bathtub—the cold water comes from the main water supply, and the hot water comes from the water heater. The pipes are made from copper, cream-colored plastic CPVC, or red and blue PEX tubing.

If your tub is attached to the wall, the best material will be one that can be shaped to fit your space perfectly. A cast-polymer, acrylic, or fiberglass tub will likely be the easiest to install as a built-in because it can be designed to fit your space.

Roman tubs are very different from ordinary tubs. A Roman tub is typically deeper and broader than a traditional tub, and it's often installed on a custom platform with the faucet positioned on the deck rather than on the wall. Ordinary tubs are more shallow and usually feature built-in shower options

If your bathtub is in overall good shape with minor scratches, discoloration, or just general wear and tear, it's best (and less expensive) to refinish it.

If your tub has large cracks, is leaking, or is otherwise severely damaged, we recommend replacing it with a new bathtub. Refinishing a bathtub can only fix superficial problems, so these issues will still be present or reappear after a refinishing.

The average cost to convert a tub to a shower is around $3,000, but prices can range from $1,000 to as high as $15,000. A more typical range is between $1,200 and $8,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the amount of plumbing work required, the size of the shower, and the type of materials and fixtures chosen. A prefabricated shower stall is a more budget-friendly option, while a custom shower with features like luxury tiles, unique tiling, smart technology, or accessibility features will be at the higher end of the cost spectrum.
