I had a general idea of what I wanted. When I received the welcome email and instructions, I was given instructions for how to provide information including a link to a site where I could map out my room with doorways, windows, etc. I provided all of the requested information including pictures of the space. I was very thorough. This service is entirely over email and internet. We had a phone conference to discuss what I wanted and about a week later, I received a link with all of their suggested selections. At first, I was very confused because it didn't seem to meet my needs. However, when I contacted them about it, we had another conference call and they explained that they were simply providing a number of different solutions for each category; paint, office furniture, fixtures, textiles, etc. Their vision for my room actually was more along the lines. It was a wonderful tool because I was able to scroll through additional options. I had questions every step of the way and was answered with friendly, timely responses. I was given a direction and suggested to first choose my drapes to design around a fabric/print and that worked perfectly.
