He did numerous checks for viruses, malware, and various other things that can go wrong. He vigorously pursued a resolution pretty steadily for two days before determining it was a malfunctioning external backup system that was causing the problem. With that finding, he promptly got my computer running smoothly and very fast again. He made two trips to my house; on the first one, he had to cross a sheet of ice in my driveway. "Dave is reliable. He returns texts and shows up on time which is more than many others. However, he is VERY EXPENSIVE. I supplied the materials. It took him 2.5 hours to complete the job and the charge was $300 to stain the trim on the new sliding glass doors. That's $120/hour. The job was okay. He forgot to stain the top of the trim across the doors and had to be told he'd forgotten it. Also, there was stain left on the glass and metal edges which he told me I could get off with windex. For his prices, he should have cleaned it off himself. I will not be using him in the future."
