"Not impressed. The saleman was great, didn't get to deal with him again. They called to schedule the install they said between 8-10AM, the workers showed up around 3PM, which was difficult since they didn't speak any english. The contractor showed up about a half hour later with no explanation or call for the delay. I cancelled a meeting to be there. They said they would be on site the whole time and have a QA after, once the balance was paid they disappeared. I just happened to see the work truck leave, without any notice. Went outside, had to move everything back in place that they said they would do. Picked up a pieces of metal and nails all around the house, still have several on top of the clear roof of pergola. Just disapointed with the amount Debella charges, you should get more for you $. Could have gone cheaper or done it myself, but the salesman was good. DeBella says customer service is #1...not so much."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Two alternatives to reglazing are installing a bathtub inlay or a bathtub liner. An inlay is a low-priced mat that adheres to the bottom of a bathtub or shower. It’s useful for sealing minor leaks and concealing damage on the bottom of a tub. On the other hand, a bathtub liner is essentially a protective casing that goes over the entire tub. They are usually custom-fit and cost more than reglazing yet don’t last as long.

While tubs are fairly sturdy, you may notice cracks or holes. This kind of damage can happen from someone accidentally dropping something heavy into the tub. Surprisingly, cleaning an air bath is almost as easy as relaxing in one. Most air baths have a self-cleaning or drying cycle to remove moisture from the inner tubing. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and a soft cloth to wipe the surfaces and periodically clean the air jets as the manufacturer recommends.

Epoxy is nonporous, so it won’t allow liquids, bacteria, or other contaminants to penetrate the surface. It’s highly water-resistant and easy to clean and maintain, another boon for modern homeowners. Epoxy remains a popular choice for counters, floors, and any surface where good hygiene is crucial.

There are a few ways to check whether your tub is fiberglass or acrylic. If your tub is a color other than white, then your tub is likely acrylic (as fiberglass tubs are usually white). Check to see if there is discoloration on the bottom of the tub, because if it’s yellowed, then you can be fairly sure it’s fiberglass.

Also, fiberglass tubs have thinner edges and are cool to the touch. Acrylic, on the other hand, is either room temperature or warm to the touch.
