"Woody's fencing is stellar! I first hired them to install 50' of wooden fence between my house and my neighbor's property. I was so pleased with the results of that project that I asked for him to also quote a chain link fence in my front/side yard for my dog. The price was right, timing was faster than expected, the work was excellent and Dan and his son were so great to work with! I would definitely hire Woody's fencing again in a heartbeat!"

Small jobs welcome

"Dave was very easy to communicate with and showed me all my options for putting up a yard fence. I chose my materials and we had it all laid out, materials were ordered and I decided I wanted a change and he was very patient in coming back and mapping that area out and ordering materials for the additional fencing!!! We were both very happy how the finished fenced area looked with my changes!!! I found Dave exceptionally easy to work with and so accommodating!!! I felt from the beginning that I would get the Cadillac of fencing jobs and I did!!! I would recommend Dave and his company to anyone!!!!!"

"Our neighbors have told me how much they like the fence. At least one has asked woody’s fencing to give them a bid. I recommend you list everything you want in writing to make sure it gets done. Their work is excellent, however they didn’t clean up afterword leaving a variety of equipment and trash in our pasture. I look forward to them completing the job."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.

Fabricating an aluminum fence costs about $4,350 on average, ranging from about $2,450 to $6,500. Your fencing costs can run as low as $750 or as high as $11,000 or more, depending on the fence's size, complexity, and geographic location. You should consider additional cost factors including the thickness of the aluminum, height of the fence, necessary permits, and custom colors.

Rabbits are remarkable jumpers, capable of leaping to impressive heights. Generally, they can jump up to 2 to 3 feet vertically, thanks to their strong hind legs and muscular build. This exceptional jumping ability isn't just for fun—it helps them escape predators and reach vegetation otherwise out of their reach. Their agility and power make them one of the animal kingdom's most agile jumpers, adapting their natural talents to navigate their environment with finesse.

This depends mainly on how well the posts were installed and what type of wood was used to build the gate in the first place. Softwoods have a life expectancy of up to 15 years but can last slightly longer with regular maintenance and waterproofing treatments. By contrast, hardwoods can last up to 30 years with little care, so you may avoid costly replacements by spending a little more upfront.

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.
