"Very professional, I had large trees in a very tight area with power lines on one side and my house on the other. These guys really amazed me, they did a great job and cleaned up all the mess. I highly recommend if you need tree service there’s only one name to remember. Angry Beaver tree service. Also they are extremely nice to deal with at a fair price."

"Stuckman Tree Experts were timely, courteous knowledgeable, and had the most current machinery to do the job of trimming and cutting down trees on private road. They have cut trees down before. And I trust their integrity to get the job done right and in a safe manner. They are a one stop service. They also offer emergency help, as well as stump grinding, and and will even cut up the tree or trees for firewood if that's what you want. ThankU Stuckmans Tree Experts!"

"These guys are very experienced, show up when they say they will and have fair prices. They took down what I would call a very precarious tree near my home and garage and left the place cleaned up. Got an estimate on another tree when they left. I can't imaging not hiring them again for any tree I need."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Cutting down a dead tree is always strongly advisable. Aside from being an eyesore, a dead tree can be extremely hazardous, especially when it’s near people or structures. Even if the tree isn’t near your home, it can still harbor pests and diseases that can potentially spread to nearby plants and homes.

The Christmas tree type that smells the best to you will ultimately depend on personal preference. But if that classic Christmas tree smell is important to you, choosing a type of tree known for its scent is a safe bet. Try a balsam fir for a spicy, comforting scent or a Douglas fir for a sweeter smell. You may also like Fraser firs, Scotch pines, and blue spruces.

The best time to transplant a tree is when it is dormant. For many trees, this means either in the fall after the leaves have dropped (around October or November) or in early spring before new growth begins (around March). The ideal timing can depend on the type of tree. Deciduous trees do well when moved in early spring or fall, while evergreens are best transplanted in early spring or late summer. For example, pine trees are best moved in early fall, but maples prefer late fall. Avoid transplanting in winter, as the frozen or hard, cold soil poses a significant risk to the roots and prevents the tree from acclimating properly.

If you don’t trim your palm trees, you can expect several negative outcomes, including:

  • Unhealthy palm trees attract pests, diseases, and fungi

  • Dead falling fronds can cause severe injury or damage to your home, pedestrians, or cars

  • Dead palm branches are flammable and can catch fire, especially during a lightning storm

To maintain trees on a commercial property, perform regular pruning, monitor for diseases, and apply fertilization to promote healthy growth. It is also important to remove any hazardous branches to keep the trees healthy and prevent potential liability issues.
