"I had Pro Tech repair two pieces of wooden furniture. They were very cordial and professional. They worked very hard when they were here and treated my furniture very carefully. If the actual furnace is turning on at the same time as the AC and hot and cool air are coming into the home, it could be a result of incorrect writing to a new thermostat or new systems.

You can air condition your Arizona room by extending your home’s existing HVAC system or adding a ductless mini-split system. Arizona rooms that have full windows rather than screens only are a better choice for air conditioning—screens will let the cold air out as fast as the air conditioner can make it. 

A non-maintained AC is more likely to perform poorly, increase your energy bills, and undergo more severe issues like breakage and water damage. That’s why DIY cleaning or professional maintenance is recommended annually. Otherwise, you might end up paying more in the end than you would for annual service. You can purchase cheap AC cleaning kits if you prefer going the DIY route.

The cost to install a ductless mini-split AC system ranges from $2,000 to $14,000, depending on the type of unit, the number of zones or rooms, and the complexity of the installation. On the low end, a system for one or two zones in a single room costs around $2,000. Covering two zones for more rooms can cost between $6,000 and $8,000. For a larger multi-zone system to cover an entire home, costs can be $14,000. If you don’t already have an AC system in place, you may need to add the cost of permits, an electrician, and a concrete pad.
