"I contracted with them to install laminate flooring and to renovate a bath. There were some unforseen problems with the bath renovation due to former contractor not installing a vapor barrier. They had to expend many more manhours than expected, but did an outstanding job. They are very anxious to please. I am pleased with the results. Also, you can have complete confidence in thier word."

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

No, you shouldn’t insert an LED light into an incandescent socket. It usually won’t fit anyway, but in the unlikely chance that it does, its electrical demands are too different for it to work properly.

Most contractors will include removal of your lights in the price of installation, but it’s always a good idea to double check. Storage of the lights is often also part of the package when you hire an installation professional, since you might choose to use the same lights for several years.

Yes, a holiday lighting installation can be a DIY project. While it is possible for homeowners to do it themselves, it's crucial to ensure all safety precautions are taken. This includes using the proper tools, following electrical safety guidelines, and carefully planning the layout. For large or high displays, professional installation is often recommended to ensure safety and a more polished appearance.

Consider hiring your professional to decorate other areas of your house in addition to the Christmas tree. They can match the rest of your home decor to the tree's design and even extend the style to your outdoor holiday decor .

Cold weather can cause older incandescent Christmas lights to fail by causing cracks in the finish or the glass itself. Modern LED lights are affected in the opposite way and perform even better as the temperature drops.
