"I contracted with them to install laminate flooring and to renovate a bath. There were some unforseen problems with the bath renovation due to former contractor not installing a vapor barrier. They had to expend many more manhours than expected, but did an outstanding job. They are very anxious to please. I am pleased with the results. Also, you can have complete confidence in thier word."

Holiday Decorating questions, answered by experts

It's safe to hang Christmas lights from gutters with a few considerations. First, when installing the lights, follow safe ladder-use guidelines and avoid getting onto the roof. Second, for best results and the integrity of your lights, use clips to keep the bulbs away from inside the gutters where they could run into trouble with water or ice.

Typically, the most expensive type of Christmas tree is either the Douglas fir or the fraser fir. That being said, lots of different factors can affect what you’ll pay for a Christmas tree including supply and demand, size of the tree, and more. Your best bet is to speak with a pro at your local Christmas tree farm to find the best tree for you.

Christmas light cords are long, thin, and flexible—which makes them exceptionally prone to tangling. As you try to untangle the very merry mess, the light bulbs and sockets may catch on the cords, making it even harder to pull cords through the knots.

Christmas trees need about 100 lights per foot, so you would need 700 lights for a 7-foot tree.

The simplest way to put Christmas lights on any metal surface is by using a magnetic hook or clip. You can also purchase magnetic lights, which should easily stick to any magnetic surface. Keep in mind that not all metals are magnetic. In that case, you’ll need to use a different clip.
