"Two young men came to the house yesterday and spent from 9 a.m. til 3p.m. cleaning our air vents. They dismantled the furnace, fixed the hot water heater, replaced the old air vents, washed all the internal parts until they shone like new and resembled everything. Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. It can take anywhere from half an hour to a few hours to fix a main line clog, depending on the cause and severity of it. The job should not take more than a day to complete. Keep in mind that the main line is not the same as your home’s sewer lines (which connect to the main line and run to your house). Your city is responsible for any clogs or damage to the main line itself.
