Whether you can repair or install plaster yourself depends on the project size and your tolerance for DIY projects. You may feel perfectly comfortable taking on a small plaster repair project, but prefer to leave a room restoration or renovation to a local plaster repair professional.

Venetian plaster walls tend to be beautiful and attractive. While applying Venetian plaster to the walls of your home won't have the same impact on its value as renovating the kitchen or remodeling the bathroom, the plaster can make your home more appealing to potential buyers, leading to higher offers and more competition when it's time to sell.

Heat can help plaster dry faster, but it's very easy to get too much of a good thing. When exposed to high heat during the curing process, plaster can dry out too quickly, leading to cracks and affecting the material's integrity.
