"Luis Tudon was very kind well spoken and understanding, he was very helpful with me understanding my roofing needs. He was my 2nd choice, but I will for sure consider him for future projects. I do recommend considering him before making a decision."

"Jose was awesome! It’s nice when the actual installer is able to come out give an accurate quote. Ares Insulation is owner operated, competitively priced and available to install very quickly. Jose is experienced in the field, polite and provides high-quality insulation. He is professional and takes a lot of pride in his work. If you’re looking for a company that will go above and beyond to work with you on making sure that the attic insulation is up to code, looking nice and ready for an inspection, I highly recommend Ares Insulation."

"I want to rave about the work Redeemer's Group did on my home. I have seen many work groups in my 31 years in the military and my 50 years career in mental health. Redeemers work groups are among the best I have witnessed. Three different teams worked on my house and they all did extremely well. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left the area clean. I obtained quotes from four different companies for my repair project before I had the work done by Redeemers. I encourage everyone having foundation issues to call Redeemers to do the work. "They arrived promptly and reviewed the work with me.  They agreed to paint the areas that I wanted painted plus cover a water stain on my ceiling.  I had recently installed granite counter tops so there were a couple areas that needed drywall repair and/or caulking so they took care of that also.  They covered my furniture and counter tops.  The job was very professional.  They worked steadily and independently.  I was able to work in my office without interruption the entire day.  They applied two coats and the results were very nice.  They insisted upon putting the furniture back in place and they left everything clean and tidy.

"Rep. checked entire system. He found several wires not connected properly and fixed this. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

Drywall is safe to cut as long as you follow proper procedures, such as wearing personal protective equipment and using the right tools to score and cut the drywall. When cutting new drywall, it can release dust with silica and other compounds that could pose health risks. Leave cutting drywall to the pros, or wear a high-quality respiratory mask, goggles, and other PPE when handling drywall.

You should do a little bit of sanding between adding coats of mud. Knock down any ridges or significantly imperfect areas through sanding, which should help you apply the next coat of mud smoothly. If your first coat of mud is pretty smooth after it dries, a quick sanding is all you’ll need. Don’t forget to wipe away any dust after each sanding process.

You can put drywall mud over paint to even out the surface or entirely resurface it. Sand the surface with 280-grit sandpaper, vacuum the debris and dust with a shop vac, and clean it with a slightly damp cloth. Allow the surface to dry. Apply drywall primer, especially if you’re skim-coating an entire wall. Apply the right type of drywall mud over the surface and smooth it with a trowel. Allow the layer to cure fully, then sand it before applying another layer or painting it.

Brick and stucco are a lot more different. You must use picture hanging clips designed for brick walls, or use a plaster rail system with adjustable hooks. Any other type of hanging hardware will cause damage to the bricks behind. You won’t be able to really use nails, either, because they’re not strong enough to go into the bricks.

Popular wall textures include orange peel, knockdown, spray sand, and smooth finishes. Orange peel and knockdown are particularly common choices for drywall as they are simple and cost-effective. Orange peel texture has a lightly bumpy surface resembling the skin of an orange, while knockdown (sometimes called knockout) looks like a stucco finish with flattened high spots. In contrast, popcorn texture has fallen out of fashion, partly due to its past association with asbestos and a shift toward more restrained interior design styles.
