He was prompt, did a thorough inspection, and took the time to explain everything to me and then even showed me some tips and tricks that I didn t know as a first time fire place/chimney owner. He came for a sweep but after the inspection said that it didn t need it. It was reassuring to know that he could have pulled the wool over my eyes and make a buck but instead was honest. "John Paul was reponsive and prompt to do the inspection for the estimate.  After the proposal was accepted, the miscommunication and then complete lack of communication began.  I was unable to get any kind of schedule or idea of when the work would be done.  Finally after more than 3 weeks with no contact, I started the process of getting some new estimates and started to accept a proposal with another contractor.  The following morning John Paul called me to say he would be out that morning to do the chimney work, and that he would do the finish work the following day.  This was all very unexpected.
