"Titan from Sleep Easy accessed our chimney problems (furnace/hot water heater) and explained everything in a very thorough/detailed manner. Michael and his associate came at the promised time to start the repair. Michael was very personable and professional, explained the work to be done. Workmanship was very professional/ beautiful and fast! Plus, they totally cleaned up any debris from the repair (there was a lot)! Better than when they started! Communication with office was the best ! Thanks for your hard work on a terribly cold day. I highly recommend this company."

"The entire project went very smoothly. Jason started work immediately after signing the contract and completed the project in a timely manner. Jason and I communicated frequently during the construction phase of the project keeping me informed of the status, and he also made several recommendations to help improve the final outcome."

"On one hand, Artown was very good about securing a payment from the insurance company--the insurance company denied our hail damage claim initially, but Artown went to bat for us (we clearly had hail damage) and got us a new roof. They did a good job communicating with the insurance company for us. For that, I am grateful.
From there, things went more sour. The installation of the roof went OK. We have an old house with some tight corners near dormers, and they didn't really catch the seams flush so there is a bit of warping on the shingles (minor issue). The work crew only had one person that spoke (choppy) English, which made communication difficult when a small issue arose during roofing, but everyone was professional and worked hard.
When I contacted Artown about a few small gaps in the roof near tight spots, it took forever to get someone out to check it, and when he came, I was not impressed with his professionalism (though he was very friendly). He said the issues were due to construction of our old house, which is possible, but I was not totally sure it was true. Our home inspection from the previous year mentioned no such thing. I got the sense there were issues of communication in the company, which were strengthened by the questionable way the needed repairs were discussed. After promising to come by early the next day and do the repairs for cash (off the company books?), he never showed.
I'm going to call the company today and report the strange behavior of the warranty/inspection person. Overall though, I feel I've had enough experience with Artown to recommend you go with someone else.

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Some movers will disassemble bed frames and include this in their price. Others will charge extra for this service, so always check before booking. Disassembling the furniture yourself is one way to lower the cost of moving a bed frame if you have the tools, the time, and the extra bodies to help you complete the task safely.

Yes, you can disassemble most furniture with the proper tools and experience. Beds, tables, bookshelves, and chairs are all items that can be disassembled. Be sure to keep track of parts like screws and hardware by labeling them with the disassembled items. Avoid disassembling delicate or antique items in case they become too damaged to reassemble.

To reinstall a sliding drawer, align the tracks on both sides of the drawer with the corresponding grooves in the cabinet. Tilt the front of the drawer upward and carefully slide it into place, ensuring that the wheels or rollers on the drawer fit securely into the tracks. Gently push the drawer in until it fully engages with the cabinet. Test the sliding motion to confirm it's properly aligned and functioning. Adjust as needed for a smooth operation.

Pros cover many fixes, from upholstery renewals to joint reinforcement.

Most small to medium repairs are completed within a few days.
