"I was told by 3 companies that my heat pump compressor was bad. One said the outside unit had to be replaced and the other two said both the outside and inside units had to be replaced. At a cost of $3500-6800, this was not what I was expecting and it certainly wasn t in my budget! The owner of Queen City looked at my unit and determined that my compressor was just fine and my heat pump just needed 2 capacitors. "Called them late last summer when my 19 year old condenser quit. They quickly gave me a quote for an whole new heat pump system. They were out the very next day and installed it very quickly.
