"We purchased the Angie's List deal because we wanted to try to get some stains out of the carpet. They were there before we moved in and we just didn't know if there was something else we could do. Carpet Care showed up on time, did a very detailed job, and even gave us an honest answer about the stains. He was very upfront that they were in the pad and that we could clean and clean but they would come back. I really appreciate the honesty. My favorite thing is the fact that the carpets were barely damp when he left! I would highly recommend these guys for any carpet cleaning needs.

Small jobs welcome

"They cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, cleaned up debrie in the yard, repaired a leaky faucet, repaired a broken fence, and did calking around the sink and batgtub. They worked quickly and did a thorough job. I highly recommend them to anyone who are looking for getting a cleaning or handyman job done."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Estate cleanout services aren’t typically priced per square foot, although you can often expect costs to increase along with the square footage of a property. The real factor at play is the number of items that need to be handled. More items, especially bulky items, mean higher costs, and larger homes tend to hold more items.

It depends on the size of the home and the extent of cleaning, but generally, a housekeeper can clean three to five rooms per day. If deep cleaning is needed, they may focus on fewer rooms. It’s always a good idea to discuss your expectations and the time required with your cleaner upfront.

Knowing how to clean baseboard heaters is worth it, because this skill means your heating system will work more efficiently. By clearing out dirt and debris from the metal fins inside the heater, they can better transfer heat. Not only does this keep you nice and warm, but it may lower your energy bills, too.

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.

Butcher block countertops are easy to clean. You can use basic household cleaning materials like soap and water. You can even use vinegar or lemon juice and salt. There aren’t many special precautions like other materials. For example, soap tends to streak stainless steel while acid-based cleaners can wear down quartz.
