"I'm so happy with the service! My 22x29 ft basement had water damage, there were storage boxes stuck to the basement floor. George and his assistant were able to remove all damaged items, including large furniture and mattresses, in 2 hrs. They had their own vehicle so I didn't have to worry about disposal. 12 years of junk has been removed and I can now see my basement floor. I appreciate the professionalism and the reasonable rate!"

"John was very professional and informative. We had already had a couple of plumbers from other companies look at our issue with no resolution. John was thorough in examining the problem, explaining our issues, and resolving them. We could tell we were getting quality service. Thank you!"

"Wanted to fix the problem caused by large Pine and Magnolia Tree leaves continually clogging gutters causing periodic water damage. Decided to install good quality Gutter Guards and fix the current water damage.
Al kept me informed at least a day in advance of his schedule and arrived when promised which I appreciated.
Below are some of the task I watch Al and his brother do and was very happy with the quality I saw.
Gutter Guards
Pressure washer cleaned gutter, downspouts, and surrounding area.
Removed gutters and installed metal protection on fascia board where needed
Adjusted gutter angle to make sure water drained correctly on all sides
Installed and screwed in Guards on all the Gutters to keep in place
Added Metal End caps to prevent squirrels and bird access to gutters.
Corrected a Gutter Problem that caused leaves and debris to collect and build up at one section of the roof allowing water to
flow over sides.
  Back Exterior Jalousie Door Replace
Bought Solid Core Door and cut to exact size of
old door
Cut out center for the Jalousie windows from the
old door
Primed (Weather Proofed) door on all external
surfaces
Installed the Jalousie Windows from old door
Set Door in place and adjusted for perfect fit
Installed new Aluminum Door Sweep and adjusted
for fit.
Installed and tested new electronic lock
60x56 Jalousie Window Frame Repair
Removed Rotting wood at base and along sides
Installed new wood along sides and Vinyl Composite
Simulated Lumber at the base for water resistance.
Caulked all access points around the frame.
Install New Storm window
Removed old storm Window frame from Kitchen
Window
Installed new Storm Window
Other
Cleaned area and left it looking better than
when they arrived
Sent Pictures of how the Gutter install looked
like from above the roof.
Alerted to other problems (Chimney, Tuck
pointing) I did not know about.
Today is 1-July-2014 and three storms have come through since installation and I have seen none of the problems I had before the guards were installed. Normally I would be cleaning out the clogged down spouts!!

I was very happy with the results and consider the money well spent.

"David, the plumber who came, was very professional and very friendly.  He first replaced the garbage disposal and then looked at the toilet.  He needed to go get some parts for the toilet and returned promptly and fixed it.  He showed me what was wrong and explained it to me why he needed to replace some parts.  I would definitely use this company again.

Install Garbage Disposal questions, answered by experts

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

If your garbage disposal powers up and you can hear it hum, but the arms inside aren’t moving, the problem might be a stubborn clog, a build-up of grease, or a jam of the impeller plate. To troubleshoot these, ensure your unit is off and disconnected from its power source before checking inside the drain or attempting to manually rotate the impeller arms or plate from the underside of the unit. A hex wrench can help.

On average, a garbage disposal can last anywhere from 7 to 12 years, with many models functioning well for about 10 years. With heavy usage, a motor may last a minimum of five years, while grinding plates will wear down over time. It's generally a good idea to consider a replacement if your unit is approaching the 10-year mark. Other signs that it's time for a new disposal include frequent leaks, persistent clogs, lingering odors, lack of power, or unusual noises. If your unit is not that old, it's worth investigating if a less expensive part, like a rubber seal or a loose hose, is causing the issue.

The two main negatives of garbage disposals are they are a safety hazard in homes with children, and they frequently encounter blockage issues. While they might be annoying to fix and monitor, garbage disposals can significantly lower your trash use and are a great way to dispose of organic waste. While there are negatives, the vast majority of homeowners acknowledge the positives are enough to install a disposal in their home.

To prevent drain clogs, perform regular maintenance and cleaning. Avoid disposing of substances like grease or coffee grounds down the sink. Additionally, installing and routinely using drain strainers can help catch debris and prevent blockages from forming.
