Customers say: Super punctual

"Kerry has been in business 27 years (his information), and he knew exactly what to do to repair my gas log fireplace. He was courteous, professional, on-time, and did not make a mess in my front room. I feel he repaired my fireplace with quality supplies, and we had a discussion before he began, and what the possible charge would be. I felt he was honest with me at all times, and was practical in the repairs that were needed. I was satisfied with the cost, and I would hire him back in a minute if I needed him."

"Technician, Chris, was AWESOME!!!!! He was tied up in traffic and called to let me know. How much I appreciated that! He took apart the gas line in the fire pit and did some trouble shooting. Identified the cause as the log starter device. We discussed how to fix it - need a stone mason to expose the main gas line, then have Jamison return to fix it. Chris has another great idea how to use it if the masonry work would be too expensive. When I asked if he had any ideas, he suggested transforming the pit into a cool tabletop, which would complement the inline gas grill on one side and another fire pit on the other. GREAT company! GREAT employee, Chris! Thankyou very much! We're going to have the masonry done and call Jamison to make this operational.

"I bought a 110 year old farm house and Raymond came out to do a fireplace inspection before winter. The old fireplace had some major problems and so we decided to upgrade to a nice propane insert. Raymond got me a new propane fireplace insert and had it installed quickly so I would be set for winter. He was such a professional! I have sure enjoyed my new fireplace!! Thanks for everything!! I would definitely recommend you call for any of your fireplace needs!!"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Depending on the appliance and labor requirements, costs range from $150 to $500.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.
