"I found (REMOVED NAME)on Angi. In talking and meeting him, he seemed perfect when he told us about foster kids, etc. Ron said it would take 2-3 days with two different paints and a sealer. Two painters came, took three hours including time to move furniture from large patio. When I asked how in three hours versus 2-3 days, he said they mixed the sealer with the paint so went faster. I contacted him in May to let him know the paint was peeling. He said no problem, he'd be out the next week to make it right. He never came. I contacted him again late May and no answer. I was using the number (REMOVED NAME) has given me which he originally replied to. No response. The summer was 90-100 degree, so I didn't try again until end of August and hot weather. No response. The number I was using was (REMOVED NUMBER). When I called Angi last week to complain that he would not get back to me, gentleman said (REMOVED NAME) number was (REMOVED NUMBER). I've tried it twice and no reponse. I paid (REMOVED NAME) $1,200 for his work and $600 for the paint and he did it in 3 hours and started peeling within 30 days."

I am a Journeyman Union Carpenter by trade but after 15 years left it to pursue other things. I have had rental properties and done hundreds of property rehabs and remodels over the years. I have a working knowledge of plumbing and electrical and I take pride in my work. I also rehab and refinish antique wood furniture and build custom furniture out of old wood and recycled materials. No job is too small and I enjoy meeting all the people that this kind of work leads me too.

If you’re installing new wallpaper and have leftover glue, you can remove unused wallpaper paste from the bucket or pan it’s in by letting it dry. If it’s an oil-based paste, seal it in a plastic bag and throw it in the garbage. Otherwise, toss the leftover wallpaper paste in the trash. Although it’s water-soluble, don’t rinse unused wallpaper paste down the sink because it could dry in the pipes and cause a blockage.

The average cost to remove wallpaper is $790. The final price tag depends on the size of the room and the complexity of the project, and can range from $200 to $2,000. Usually, removing peel-and-stick wallpaper is on the lower end of the cost scale, as it doesn't require special tools to remove.
