Small jobs welcome

"I’m very pleased with the lawn care service I received. He did an excellent job cutting the grass — everything was trimmed neatly and looked very professional. The weed eating was done very well, and all the edges around the yard were clean and tidy. He paid attention to detail and made sure the entire yard looked great before leaving. Very dependable, hardworking, and respectful. I highly recommend his service to anyone looking for quality lawn care!"

"For over a year Paul Kasper has maintained my yard and has done an excellent job. Once a week Paul comes by and mows the lawn, edges the side walk and drive way, weeds the lawn and trims the trees when needed. It has been great to have someone so conscientious working on my yard. I would highly recommend him to everyone."

"Mr. Garcia and his family do an excellent job. After the first time he did my yard I ask if he could do it all the time. He knows how to do anything when it comes to lawn care. He take care of my palm tree, shrubs, weeding, cutting back my crept myrtles. He and his family are very hard working and a pleasure to work with. I recommend Mr. Garcia to anyone looking for someone who pays attention to detail and is able to take care of all your lawn care needs."

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

Weeds may grow back when pulled out if the root is not completely removed. Invasive weeds can regrow from just a small portion of remaining root, so using a weed-pulling tool can help ensure you remove the entire root. Weeds may grow back faster if roots aren’t fully removed, and incomplete removal could cause them to spread as well.

Professionals bring industry knowledge, can spot potential problems early, and tailor maintenance like fertilizing and weeding to your lawn's specific needs.

In most cases, it is worth paying for professional lawn care. DIY lawn maintenance is possible, but it can get extremely time-consuming, especially to make your property look well-maintained. Not only is lawn maintenance time-intensive, but it can also get expensive, even to DIY, especially considering the cost of fuel and maintenance for your lawn care tools. Professional lawn care services average around $100 per service, making it a relatively inexpensive investment, especially for how much time it saves you.

Hiring a professional lawn care service is generally worth the cost, especially if you have limited free time. Lawn care professionals can ensure your lawn receives the vital nutrients it needs to grow and thrive, guaranteeing a healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained yard with professional-looking results. While some homeowners enjoy doing the work themselves, hiring a company frees up your schedule. The decision also depends on your budget and whether you already own the necessary lawn equipment, as doing the maintenance yourself can reduce monthly costs. Additionally, many lawn care companies offer other services like snow and leaf removal to keep your property in top shape year-round.

In general, cool-season grasses such as fescue grass, ryegrass, and Kentucky bluegrass are best for creating a striped lawn. Warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia grass don't curl as much, so grass stripes aren't as easy to see. If you live in a climate that’s better suited for warm-season grass, zoysia grass will typically be your best option.
