"Job went perfect. I was approved for financing the day I called. When the contractor came out for the bid, he made a materials and labor suggestion based on our needs. The original estimate of 9k worth of unnecessary privacy fencing, that I could not afford, went down to 2.5k of sturdy chain link providing a safe play space for our rescue dog. The contractor said they are more interested in helping customers out than making large sales. The fence is very professional. It is even wired into the ground so our dog cannot dig under it. The city inspector said it was a "perfect" construction job. Finished in under 8 hours. Roughly 100 feet of chain link, posts, concrete, plus gate. High quality materials and the yard was spotless when the job was finished. Very trustworthy. I feel strongly that I got what I paid for. Peace of mind that my dog, a known short fence jumper, is safe as well as my yard and padlocked gate. The most important part, is that my dog LOVES the freedom of having a large yard to run freely in."

"Wanted to fix the problem caused by large Pine and Magnolia Tree leaves continually clogging gutters causing periodic water damage. Decided to install good quality Gutter Guards and fix the current water damage.
Al kept me informed at least a day in advance of his schedule and arrived when promised which I appreciated.
Below are some of the task I watch Al and his brother do and was very happy with the quality I saw.
Gutter Guards
Pressure washer cleaned gutter, downspouts, and surrounding area.
Removed gutters and installed metal protection on fascia board where needed
Adjusted gutter angle to make sure water drained correctly on all sides
Installed and screwed in Guards on all the Gutters to keep in place
Added Metal End caps to prevent squirrels and bird access to gutters.
Corrected a Gutter Problem that caused leaves and debris to collect and build up at one section of the roof allowing water to
flow over sides.

Today is 1-July-2014 and three storms have come through since installation and I have seen none of the problems I had before the guards were installed. Normally I would be cleaning out the clogged down spouts!!

"Tim built us a gate with an electronic opener from scratch.  He built the frame, did the wiring, constructed the gate itself, and installed a keypad.  It's an impressive piece of work, this gate!  Two other companies bid the job, but one was ridiculously high and the other did not sound confident that they could pull it off successfully.  Tim built us an awesome gate to our specifications for a reasonable price.  We have had the gate for two years, and I wrote a review after he built it.  I am updating my review, however, to add that he maintains this gate like the Holy Grail!  There is so much pride in construction here- if something needs to be adjusted or repaired and I call or text, I swear Tim and his son appear magically and fix it right up.  I am so happy that we went with Penniston Fence for this job.  Tim is not one of those to do a disappearing act if there is a problem.  He has been very good to us and to our gate and I am very grateful!  We also recommended him to our neighbors across the street, and he built them a gorgeous cedar fence around their backyard that they love.  He does really great work.  You need to call him.  :)

"The owner , Matt, and his assistant, Paddy, arrived exactly on time and as an initial courtesy, brought in our newspaper from our front driveway. They proceeded immediately to analyze the complexity of the job which involved very carefully removing an entire Wayfair fireplace insert furniture structure, , and then proceeded assembling all the many pieces in the box from Wayfair to construct the new unit, and re-insert the new unit into the very tight fitting wall space ....they did a fantastic job ,and cleaned up after themselves ..we were VERY highly pleased ..they are very kind, friendly, and personable gentleman, and we would highly recommend their services to anyone needing any type of construction work. "Josh and his team are outstanding!  I purchased an older home for my daughter.  Upon moving in, we noticed several tiles in the bathroom were shattered, cracked, missing or poorly affixed with silicone caulk.  We tried to clean the mold from around the tub/shower ahead of time, but the enormous amount of silicone caulk made it impossible.
Josh met me at the house a few days after closing.  He quickly removed a poorly installed tile so I could try to match color/size.  He even offered to call his tile sources if I could not find a match (house is 70yrs old).  I found a close match that day at Tile Source on Hanley/Laclede Station road, called Josh to schedule work.  Josh and his team met me exactly at the time scheduled on a Monday morning before work (from scheduling appointments with other vendors I quickly learned Josh's promptness was quite unique.  Other vendors were 1-2 hours late, or showed up a week late).   
Josh / team did a perfect job!  I will use them again and highly recommend them.
