"The person who measured our floors did a terrible job. They over measured by over 100 square feet on a job that was only 650 sq feet. I knew this because I had previously measured the same area. When I asked to see their measurements, I noticed the person failed to remove square footage where cabinets existed and also squared off rooms that we're not square. This contributed to the over measure. After I pressed them with these findings, they performed a re-calculation I and came in 100 sq ft less. This was exactly where I expected. "Tim did a great job dealing with the challenges of installing a carpet runner on a 145-year old staircase.  None of the steps were the same size and most of them unsquare, missing part of the nose, etc. etc. etc.  He was able to navigate those challenges and complete a beautiful runner installation.  This included having to cut the carpet around a huge bannister post at the bottom of the steps, it all turned out great.  We don't anticipate having any new carpeting put down, but if we did, we would certainly consider using Hampton again.  Anytime someone asks who did our runner, we will certainly give positive reviews of Tim and Hampton Flooring.
