Everything was great! Every person for the company I interacted with was nice and knowledgeable. They were able to come out not very long after I called and finished the project quickly. They also gave us tips on how to save money. Highly recommend!

Murphy's was contracted out to replace carpeting in our house. They left the job without beginning it without a clear reason. It has left us in a very bad position with our house being completely torn apart. When my husband called them, they had no clear reason why

Had carpet replaced in 3 rooms. When finished the carpet was too short for the base board. Too short to tuck to my hardwood floors. Carpet was junk, came from LOWES. We even bought upgraded pad! Tons of frays that pull an entire row of carpet out if they get caught in vacuum.. Steps were not correctly tucked. Rooms had crooked lines due to poor stretch job. Had 3 areas where the carpet was cut too far from wall and it showed. Not a single one could hardly speak a word of English. They scratched my hardwood floor. And every freshly painted door, in EVERY room, had dirty grimy hand prints. Tack strip stabs you in the foot when you walk into the room. Called Murphy Carpet to come fix the issues. NO RESPONSE!

Amazing. I have had  many contractors do various jobs, from all price ranges.  Very rarely do they even get get a C in my book.  Most companies do things half way, don't care about their work. 

I bought my flooring through Lowes and they subcontracted through Murphy's carpet. 

These guys EXCEEDED my expectations. 

There were tons of small cut outs- detailed areas.

I could tell when I met the guy he was going to a good job by the comments he was making. 

I would recommend these guys over anyone!!!  I tell everyone. I have rarely found quality workmanship in the 15 years I have been a home owner.

They did a good job and were very responsive and professional. We had some problems with the product but that's really a product problem and not an installation problem, so I really can't fault them. You couldn't ask for a better crew to come out. Their professionalism and their ability to work with a customer is tremendous, along with their ability to work with one another. They were a pleasure to watch work. It's three guys who have been working together for so long, they know exactly what has to be done and when. They come in, get the job done right and are out. They're right on top of their job and make sure it's done professional. They're a good company.

The person who measured our floors did a terrible job. They over measured by over 100 square feet on a job that was only 650 sq feet. I knew this because I had previously measured the same area. When I asked to see their measurements, I noticed the person failed to remove square footage where cabinets existed and also squared off rooms that we're not square. This contributed to the over measure. After I pressed them with these findings, they performed a re-calculation I and came in 100 sq ft less. This was exactly where I expected. Besides the mis-measurement, the actual installers were great. Murphy subcontracted to JBM Floors and I loved them.

I couldn't be happier! The entire experience, from measurement through installation, was first-rate. Everyone was punctual, considerate, friendly, and professional from beginning to end. The installers were very careful when moving furniture and particular in placing it all back in just the right spot. They asked questions about my preferences along the way and were careful to clean up during and after installation. They went above and beyond the call of duty and repaired an additional problem that I hadn't scheduled in advance and were quite happy to do so. Their pricing was also quite reasonable; I will absolutely use them again without hesitation and look forward to doing so!

Murphy Flooring was our installer through a Lowe's purchase. The first "phase" was four days of tile work by Pat Murphy. I was extremely courteous and willingly complied with my requests. He asked for feedback on my preferences and followed through with all details. My son and I were both very impressed with Pat.



The second "phase" was carpeting and vinyl. We had scheduled two days for carpet install and the vinyl was to be scheduled later when it arrived. However, I was surprised to learn they vinyl had arrived early and all would be completed in three days. While it was a pleasant surprise, I would have appreciated a call to inform me of the extended day since I had painters scheduled for the next day, but that was a minor bump. Overall, the experience was great. The workmen were professional, courteous and efficient.

Great! Job well done and...saved 1000 dollars since the other bid we had (same exact carpet) was a lot higher!

Murphy's was very prompt and professional in all interactions from the phone scheduler, to the gentleman who did the measurement, to the installers. Due to another contractor that was running behind, I had to call Murphy's to reschedule our installation date and they were very accommodating.
On the day of installation, the installers showed up on time and completed the installation. They were professional, courteous and friendly. Before leaving, they cleaned up and hauled off all trash/waste and vacuumed all the new carpet. No complaints here - would certainly recommend Murphy's highly.

Lowe's contacted me and let me know that the carpet was in. Murphy contacted me and we set up a date for installation and that the installers would come between 8:30 a.m. and 10.. Two men came out at 9:00 a.m. and began work. They were very professional and clean about their work. I was very happy with the finished job.

Needed Capet replaced within a short timeframe. Murphy had a good selection of the quality and colors required and could complete the project within a week start to finish. They did a great job. Stairs installation was superior to previous contactor.

I called for an estimate some time last year and called two other places first. Both other vendors charged extra for new pad AND moving furniture AND taking up old carpet and disposing of. Neither vendor was willing to bring me samples to choose from. I called Murphy and got quite a surprise. I talked to Chris, who talked with me at length on the phone and made an appointment with me to show me samples in my living room so I could choose a color and brand of carpet. He brought a very nice selection of samples and it was easy to choose. He measured and gave me my price ($1050) which he said included everything. I had some things come up and told him I would have to wait until after the new year started and he was fine with that. I called him in mid-February, he had my paperwork there right away and we scheduled the date for installation March 5 with no changes in price or services offered. I also wanted to put the charge on a credit card and pay half before and half upon completion. This was also fine with them. The installer showed up on time and was very efficient and professional. In a few hours, I had beautiful new carpeting with a new pad professionally installed and looking wonderful!

I called for an estimate for recarpeting 2 sets of stairs. Al Lenz came out from Murphy Carpet, measured, and showed me samples of carpets. I knew that I wanted a loop (berber) that would stand up to high traffic, so he brought four different styles for me to choose from. I went with Mohawk Thrive in two different colors, and I'm very pleased wtih it. Al was professional and polite, answered my questions, and was not pushy.

The installers arrived on time and set right to work. The stairs had not had tack strips installed the previous time they were carpeted, so a 45-minute job turned into a several-hour one. In addition to ripping out the old carpet and padding, the installers had to pull out / pound in staples, then install tack strips, then install the pad and carpet. Everything went fine, and the the stairs look much better now.

Install went well overall. I have two spots were the carpet meets the tile in the master bath that is a little frayed.

They haven’t done the work yet, but the sale has been great. The carpeting job done by them was excellent. They were subcontracted by another store for the carpeting job. It’s a very small company and I felt like the service was personalized. They go out of their way to make things right. They stayed at the job site until they got it finished. They cleaned up everything and it was beautifully done. The price charged by them was good and they provided great service. I don’t have any complaints about them. I will use them again.

We purchased our carpet in January but held off on install until after some remodeling in our home. They were very good about warehousing the carpeting until we were ready for it and were able to quickly add us to their schedule. We had a small issue regarding a spot on the stairs not being sufficently secured and they came back out the next day to fix the problem. My only complaint about the installations process was that a door was left open for a few minutes without my knowledge and we have 2 cats that I feared had wandered out (luckily I was able to locate them hiding under furniture).

The workers arrived right on time as scheduled. They were very careful in my home and cleaned up very well after themselves.

This company was referred to me from a satisfied customer. The initial phone contact was friendly and professional. A representative met us at the property ON TIME with samples that we had discussed. He measured the area, made suggestions, and indicated what we needed to do to prepare for the installation. The carpet/vinyl was installed as agreed -- it looked perfect. Remaining pieces were left as agreed. All other leftovers were removed. The installer returned and repaired a small area in existing carpet as well. A perfect repair, simply cannot see where it was done. We are very pleased with the service, and will use this company again.
