It went very well! Pasquale called me back quickly and provided an estimate the same day. He came out and performed the work himself, which was exceptionally done. I will definitely use Paramount Painting again!

The work was finished in a couple of days and what really impressed me was that they were willing to work the holiday weekend to get the job done. Pasquale Fiore is the owner and is very professional. I wasn't happy with some of the some spots and he happily touched them up. Everything looks great.

They were just outstanding! It's just the kind of craftsmanship that you don't find much anymore. They had attention to detail.

I needed the job done fast and most of the companies were making me wait 3 weeks. Paramount was able to do it right away. In addition, their estimate was significantly lower than most companies but did not include paint. They promised to finish in 2 and a half weeks. They came every day and even worked over the weekend, but most of the time they only had two people instead of the three they had promised. They did finish on time. The estimate was correct for their work but their estimate of paint price was very low; it ended up costing about $1500 instead of $600. Also in their haste they forgot a lot of things and had to come back several times to touch up. Susanne and Pasquale were very nice and I liked having them in the house. However, there were areas where they did not apply enough attention to detail and also sometimes they lacked professionalism. They were always willing to come in and touch up cheerfully, even when areas needing touch up were not their fault.

It went reasonably fine. In some instances there were problems with the quality of work in terms of sanding, painting etc., but overall i would say that it was value for money. We really liked the workmen.

Due to storm damage, we had several areas on our ceiling where water had stained and soaked into the drywall. One area was approximately 4' by 8' and two smaller areas were approximately 2' by 2' each. All areas were patched, mudded, taped, and sanded. Our living room, spare bedroom, and hallway ceilings were then painted. Pasquale paid close attention to detail and the work turned out great.

They quit in the middle of the job and they never gave me an explanation. They left my house all torn out and it was almost Thanksgiving. After renegotiating, they agreed on refunding me some of the money. I can't remember the price, but it was thousands.

Pascuale was responsive when we called for an estimate. He thoroughly explained what he recommended and what it would cost. Because it was late in the fall when we got started, work had to be suspended until the spring when the weather warmed up. We had to contact him in the spring to get things moving again, but once he started again, everything went smoothly. Overall, we were very happy with the work. His recommendations on color were good. We would use him again.

Initially, I used this company to paint an interior bathroom. The gentleman who painted (Pasquale) was very nice and a very hard worker. The painting job was an overall good one, except for a trim area along one wall. (I didn't notice it until after he had left.) I didn't call to give the company a chance to do a better job on the small area as I decided it wasn't a big deal and I would re-paint it myself. While Pasquale worked at my house, we discussed another exterior painting job, and he never followed through with a bid, despite two requests. Several months later, he called asking about the job and submitted a verbal on-the-spot, over-the-phone bid. He said he would do the work that Saturday. He never showed up and didn't call. Two weeks later, I have finally received voice messages and he seems to be confused about my address (wish he would have asked two weeks ago). His reliability concerns me and as my summer landscaping is now in the way, I have declined future work.

The work progressed smoothly over about a week without unexpected problems. Pasquale was thorough in the repairs and made some repairs not noticed prior to starting the work. He was always polite and friendly to the point we were exchanging information with him on numerous topics. The clean-up was efficient and complete. We have already recommended Paramount Painting to our friends.

To start with the bid that was given me was never clear on what work would actually be performed, I clarified this with a detailed list of the things that I expected to be done. they showed up did the wall paper stripping, painted two rooms, a ceiling in another and stained the windows. They are sloppy painters, not cutting a clean line, getting paint on things, and last but not least breaking a piece of crystal. I established the cost on replacement of the crystal vase, which must have amounted to a piece of the profit for them, as they never showed up again. Pasquale rescheduled multiple times, to ultimately state that he wouldn't be able to finish. Said he would drop off the paint that I paid for, I still have not seen the paint. I accepted a reduction in scope of work, without price change in hopes that he would show up and just finish. Pasquale consistently was attempting to sell additional work, while not appearing interested in completing the contract he was working on.

Pasquale and Susanne did a terrific job! I love the way they spray the inside of vents black so you can't see the wall behind them. I like the way they use gray primer under dark colors too! They were very easy to work with and friendly and very flexible and organized. I was impressed by their clean-up effort each day prior to leaving. Susanne even cleaned/vacuumed my home as she moved furniture in each room - including baseboards and toilets! I felt like my home had an amazing new paint job AND was clean after they left! I would definitely hire them to paint for me again!

My experience with Paramount Painting was nothing short of fantastic. Painters Pasquale and Susanne were a joy to work with, as well as being punctual and professional. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, especially with how well they cut-in from the ceilings and with their attention to detail (like spray-painting black inside the air vents and painting the vent covers the same color as the walls). On top of that, they provided me with wonderful suggestions for paint colors. Their price was great -- perhaps even too low for the quality and amount of work they did -- and the final price was right in line with their original estimates. In short, Paramount Painting bent over backward to do the job right and make me happy with the results. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone! In fact, my girlfriend was so impressed with their work that she's looking to hire them for some projects of her own.

Mr. Fiore responded quickly to my initial call and provided a competitive quote. He's a nice man with a small family business. I accepted a liability wavier because he didn't have liability insurance or workers comp. Paperwork was completed on 10/16. Mr. Fiore knew he'd have to work around the fall weather to complete the job this year as agreed. He sprayed the first coat on a very windy day wasting a lot of paint that I supplied. He used 11 gallons & didn't even finish the 1st coat on our 1200 sq. ft. home. He also failed to cover the windows as spelled out in the contract. Apparently, he thinned the paint down toward the end of the day because 20% of the house had many runs and sags, including a line of drips on the driveway. He made excuses and promises so I ordered more paint & allowed him to continue the job. After missing a number of good weather days he finally finished the first coat & started the 2nd. After more delays we agreed to terminate & settle the contract on 11/21.
Response from PARAMOUNT PAINTING CO LLC
"OUR SINCEREST APOLOGIES FOR THE MEMBER'S DISAPPOINTMENT FOR THE WORK THAT WE TRIED TO DO FOR HIM. WE TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT THE PAINT HE PURCHASED, WHICH WAS GLIDDEN, THAT WAS ORDERED FROM AN OUT OF STATE HOME DEPOT, WAS A PRODUCT THAT NOT ONLY DO WE NOT USE, BUT DO NOT GUARANTEE. WE ALSO TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT THE TIME OF THE YEAR TO START SUCH A PROJECT WAS IFFY TO COMPLETE. HE ALSO LET US KNOW THAT ANOTHER CONTRACTOR APPLIED TWO COATS OF THE FINISH PAINT, WHICH HE FELT WAS NOT SATISFACTORY, SO HE APPLIED CAULK ON MOST OF THE SURFACE AND APPLIED TWO COATS OF PRIMER, AND WANTED US TO APPLY 2 MORE COATS OF FINISH PAINT. WE LET HIM KNOW THAT ONE FINISH COAT WOULD BE MORE THAN AMPLE, AS THE PAINT WILL NOT HAVE ANY POROUS SURFACE TO ADHERE TO. WE TRY VERY HARD TO APPEASE ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS, AS WE TAKE PRIDE IN OUR WORKMANSHIP, AS WELL AS OUR NAME."

Pasquale and his wife gave us an estimate. My wife and I decided on the paint color and brand. Pasquale came in with his crew, and they did the painting over a three to four day period. We were very pleased with the results. They were very cooperative in explaining what needed to be done and the costs involved.

He estimated a job for the entire interior. He did everything except the kitchen. He got the money before the job was done. I got no receipts, and he was supposed to provide another estimate for everything except the kitchen. I never got that estimate. His work was very sloppy. He basically slopped the paint on the walls. I have to go behind him and replace things that were messed up.

I had pulled off wallpaper from my hall walls and the walls were in terrible condition. Paramount came to my house the same day and gave me a quote and was able to start the job in just a few days. They were fantastic. My walls look great!! I definitely will use them again!!
