"David and his crew at Horizons Guttering did a great job on reattaching a sagging gutter, resealing broken gutter corners, and replacing wood rot caused by the broken gutter seals. They also replaced loose hangers with sturdier, higher quality ones and leveled the gutters so they would drain well. David and the crew cleaned up the work area too. David did an excellent job with communicating about when he'd be at our house to bid the job and to start the job. My husband and I got several bids on the project. David was the only contractor who went up on the roof to get a closer look at extent of the gutter damage. He took photos to show us and took time to explain what needed to be done. He was the only bidder to go on the roof to assess the situation - others either wanted to replace the gutters or tell us later about additional work once the job started. The bid was reasonable, and we felt like David had both the experience and knowledge to take care of the job. David also gave us photos of the completed work.  I highly recommend Horizons Guttering. David and his crew were thorough in their work. The repaired gutters have withstood high winds and a heavy storm since they completed the job."

"We obtained 4 bids/estimates from various companies.  Jeff W, Bordner sales rep, was the only one that actually opened/looked at our current windows to assess all issues and make recommendations.  All other sales reps just wanted to sell us windows.  I was impressed with that.  Bordner had a window deal going on at the time - buy 5 windows and get one free - which helped to keep costs down.  We liked the type of window that Jeff recommended.  The window installation went very smoothly.  Don, the window installer, was great!  He was very courteous and professional.  He was detail-oriented and worked hard to insure the windows were installed correctly.  He also did a good job repairing the wood rot.  He put tarps down to protect the floors and cleaned up the work area at the end of the day.  He took down all of the window blinds and put them back up after the new windows were installed.  The only issues we had were: 1) a long lag time between the windows being installed and scheduling the painting of all repairs/window trim. There was some confusion over the scope of work to be done between the painting company and Bordner which caused additional delays;  2) incorrect billing.  The final bill did not show a credit for the amount we put down when the contract was signed/windows ordered.  Jeff, the sales rep, was able to resolve both issues to our satisfaction. Overall, we were pleased with the project.
