"James arrived on time and ready to work. He came in and told me exactly what he was going to do. He cleaned out the tub and then put in some kind of cleaner and then taped up the bathroom including enclosing the door with a zipper so he could run a vacuum out the window for exhaust. He took his time and was a very pleasant man to work with. He explained everything he was doing and wanted to know if I had any questions. It took about 5 hours but he left with it very clean and beautiful. The bathroom looks so nice we had to go out and buy all new plumbing because the old just did not look good. I would recommend this company (James) to anyone who needs work on their bathroom. They do a great job and it was well worth the money.

"They were a second contractor we got pricing from and they proposed doing the job in a way that greatly reduced cost. They were prompt, professional, and picked up our toilet and sink from Lowes. They kept things clean during the work and it looked good when they finished."

"The team spent the entire day at the house from initial vacuuming to cleaning and then Scotchgard. The services took all day long to deliver and we were very impressed with the results. They treated the house and carpet as if it was their own."

"We could not be happier with the service and installation of all of the services listed above. We had a family reunion in October 2014 and Wade and his team made our home look spectacular for our event. We are still so pleased with the job. The weed barrier is incredible. We have not had to weed any of our areas that he installed the barrier on. What a treat!! We would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done on their home. We are going to have him install a stamped concrete driveway this spring. We can't wait to see it and how it transforms the look of our house.

"They were around in the back of the house where it is not easy for us to clean the gutters out. They did the work as it was advertised, the worth. They immediately coded up again which was not really their fault, that's the way the trees around our house are."

In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Typically, most appliances last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the appliance, brand, and amount of use. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule, including cleaning and tune-ups, also helps appliances last longer. Dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators tend to last the longest, averaging about 13 to 15 years. Microwaves and dishwashers tend to last about 10 years on average.
The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.
The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
