Our Ornamental Iron business is dedicated to reliability, great communication, integrity, and quality work. We are experts in this trade and will do our best to keep you as educated and up to date on the projects progress as we can. Please note that we do not do aluminum fabrication. We also do not fabricate railings with aluminum combinations. We can build product to fit wood. You will have to find someone to finish out the project with wood. We do not provide references for this need. We are strictly a steel fabrication business of all products we manufacture. We build for you to have a product that will last for many years to come because your worth it. We look forward to earning your business! Thanks for shopping with us. Daniel Cantrell Owner

Missouri Fence and Supply, LLC is a growing business in Kansas City. We have residential crews, agricultural crews for livestock, and can even manage and tackle commercial projects. Free Estimates and friendly staff.

"We were told each post would have one full bag of concret, and that is what we paid for. However when the men that showed up, they had about 20 bags left over and the holes were barley half full. We took pictures to tell the owner. He sent them back out to "fix the problem" they mixed maybe 2 bags and just topped of some of the posts. Not all. Just a few months after the fence was complete one of the gates won't open, it gets stuck. 6mo later we find out from the city one whole side of the fence has to be moved back because it is not in code, we contacted the company and were told we put it where you wanted it! You would think a reputable company would at least tell you hey this is not in code, do you still want it here? But nothing. Now they're too busy to move it, with us even willing to pay. We have had other fence companies come out for quotes and we have been told that there are not even enough nails in the fence, it will start curling and willneed replaced in less than a year. Again we tried to contact the company, were told two times he would come out to look at it and now he won't reply and has not showed up!!! Horrible business and horrible experience over all."

"Would not recommend. Quality is not good - warped posts, boards, and now our gate is broken due to the way they installed the hinges. After 2 years our fence looks 10 years old. They won’t respond to phone, email, or messages"

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

Installing a fence in fall and winter will often save you money. These are the slow times for most fencing companies since fewer people tend to use their backyard during these seasons. Plus, installing a wood fence during the fall allows the wood to season without the heat of the summer sun.

Rust, bent or broken bars, loose posts, and weakened welds are common problems that require repair to maintain security and appearance.

The distance between fence posts is guided by the terrain you’re installing them on, the purpose of the fence, and the material it’s made of. For the average wooden garden fence, posts should be about 6 to 8 inches apart. But if you’re going with a mesh, wire, lattice, or chain link fence, you could set the fence posts anywhere from 6 to 25 feet apart.

Wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum are common materials. Choose based on durability, maintenance needs, and aesthetics.

Yes, installing wrought iron fencing will usually require a building permit, as do all types of fencing. Building permits for wrought iron fencing typically cost between $150 and $500, and the price will vary based on where you live and how much your local building department charges. You may also need to pay for a property survey if you’re installing wrought iron fencing on your property line. This type of survey can cost around $500, but it prevents issues with building on neighboring properties, which can be much more expensive in the long run.
