"Jose built a composite deck for me and he helped me pick out the best materials for the project. The inspector said his concrete pilings and deck construction were one of the best he has ever inspected . The deck is very nicely done and he kept the site clean and safe for our family and dog while he was building the deck."

"Working with Vernon was so easy. He communicated the progress on my unit through the project. He shared pictures along the way as well. He even came up with a simple solution to a small issue we had with our walls not being completely straight and out floors not being entirely level back when the home was built 20 years ago. He made the unit completely level and came up with a solution to hide how he made it level. The unit is beautiful and I would recommend Vernon to anyone looking to have quality woodworking done at their house."

"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

Hi my name is Gavin. I am 19 years old and have already worked multiple different trades and I’ve learned a lot of things from professional contractors. I am now trying to start a business of my own and trying to establish jobs for myself to get this business started. If you’d like to give me the opportunity, it would be a great pleasure and I will do my best to make you happy as I should as an owner of a company I will get fair prices based on my knowledge of doing it and be completely honest with you before doing it. Thank you.

You should avoid drilling or cutting into load-bearing beams because removing material will weaken it and increase the risk of structural damage or even collapse. If you do need to drill into a load-bearing beam, speak with a structural engineer first to discuss where it’s safest to drill and the width and depth of the bit that’s safe to use.

Learning how to frame a house includes picking the right lumber for the job. Most people will want to pick pine, spruce, or fir for the framing. These types of lumber are affordable and produce sturdy framing for structures. Look for kiln-dried lumber to reduce the risk of shrinkage or insect damage after installation. As part of what’s included in framing a house when you hire a professional, the contractor should order the lumber, so you don’t have to worry about finding the right lumber.

It's possible to turn your carport into a living space, but there are additional factors to address over turning it into a garage. HVAC, plumbing, and electricity won't be optional, and you'll need finished flooring, drywall, trim work, and legal ceiling height, for starters. Also, keep in mind that living space conversions may require upgrading the foundation underneath, and the permits might be more expensive as well.

Carpenters are trained to take on a wide range of home projects. You can hire a carpenter to do framing, roofing, build custom furniture, and make significant upgrades to your home. General carpenters are usually able to handle most jobs. However, you may also choose to hire a carpenter who specializes in a specific type of carpentry.

The cost to install a bow window can range from $1,500 to $15,000, with a national average of $3,900. The total price includes materials, which can cost between $1,200 and over $14,000, and labor, which typically adds $300 to $1,900. Several factors influence the final cost, including the window's size and frame material. For example, vinyl frames are the most budget-friendly option, while wood frames are more expensive. Custom features or energy-efficient upgrades will also increase the price. For comparison, a bay window installation typically costs between $1,000 and $7,000.
