"They were very professional and nice. I kind of felt double-teamed - two guys showed up in two separate trucks. They wanted to put 13 piers around my house to fix the problem. The price for a pier is not a bad thing but it seemed an awfully extreme fix for what I had asked them to come out for. I?ve gotten their calls weekly possibly from the guy wanting to know if we had made any decisions yet on what we were going to do. I think they are a harder sell maybe than the other ones I talked to. We have had a couple of people tell us that there is no way we need that extensive work done, so I would probably not consider using them."

Small jobs welcome

"I recently hired F&E Construction LLC for a major grading and resloping project, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They took the time to assess my property’s needs, explain the process, and execute the work with precision. The transformation was incredible—drainage issues that had been a problem for years were completely resolved, and the land is now perfectly leveled and sloped. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly set them apart. They completed the job on time and within budget, and the entire experience was seamless. If you need expert grading and resloping services, I highly recommend F&E Construction LLC. They exceeded my expectations in every way!"

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

Routine maintenance prevents blockages or backups, promoting system longevity. Awareness of water usage, waste disposal, and protective cover plants enhances care.

Several things can ruin a septic tank over time, including dumping harsh chemicals (like bleach and ammonia), pesticides, and paint thinners down your drain because they can kill the bacteria in your septic tank. You should also make sure to only flush waste and toilet paper in your toilet—otherwise, you could clog your system.

Septic tank odors can happen because of a few different issues with your septic system, such as a full tank, clogged drains, or blocked venting systems. Not only is a smelly septic tank pretty unpleasant, but it can also pose a potential hazard to yourself and your home. Toxic fumes could be hanging around, or untreated wastewater could be harming the environment.

The best thing to unclog a septic tank is a mechanical auger, especially if the clog is far down the line or particularly dense. You can also clear a clog in a septic line with a wooden pole or steel rod. Be sure to follow safety precautions when working in a septic tank, including wearing heavy-duty work gloves, goggles, and a gas mask.

Depending on the home, wastewater either goes into a septic tank and seeps back into the backyard or is sent via sewer system to a local sewage-treatment plant. Septic systems naturally separate different components of the waste so that it can naturally and safely disperse it. They are usually reserved for homes not served by a municipal sewage department (like rural homes). A treatment plant, on the other hand, speeds up that process through screening and purification.
