Small jobs welcome

"The cabinet and cooktop had to be removed for them to access the wiring to install a three prong plug-in for my new slide in range. They tore the cabinet out, removed it from the kitchen, and after the electrical supply was secured they leveled the range properly and also carried out the non-functioning electric oven from the wall. They save me so much grief of finding someone who would demo the cabinets and Carrie the heavy oven out of the kitchen. I feel they went above and beyond to install my new stove. I will always use them for my electrical needs."

"Very well - the Anthony exlectrican took time to explain potential electric issues I may encounter in my 40 year old house. He replaced an electic outlet and inspected the fuse box."

"Landis did an awesome job on a complicated project we had replacing knob and tube wiring in our house. Their team was clearly knowledgeable about the project, provided great advice, did it in a timely fashion with minimal damage done to our walls. They also were very reasonable priced compared to other bids we received. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Upgrading electrical systems in Harrisonville can make your home more attractive to buyers. Improvements like panel upgrades, surge protection, and GFCI outlets address safety and reliability, which are highly valued in the local market. Adding smart switches, EV charging readiness, or backup power solutions can also set your home apart, especially given Harrisonville’s weather patterns and growing demand for modern features.

Helpful?

In Harrisonville, kitchens and bathrooms often require electrical upgrades to support modern appliances and GFCI outlets. Basements may need new circuits for sump pumps due to local flooding risks. Outdoor lighting, detached garages, and attic fans are also common areas for electrical updates. Regularly inspecting these spaces helps ensure your Harrisonville home remains safe, energy efficient, and up to code.

Helpful?

In Harrisonville, signs like sparking outlets, persistent breaker trips, or a burning smell typically point to electrical issues needing prompt attention. If you notice high electric bills or lights dimming when appliances run, it could be a wiring concern. However, water stains near outlets or cold drafts may indicate plumbing or insulation problems instead. When in doubt, consult a local professional familiar with Harrisonville homes.

Helpful?

Homes in Harrisonville built before the 1970s, especially those with fuse boxes, two-prong outlets, or aluminum wiring, often need electrical upgrades. If you notice outlets without GFCI protection in kitchens or bathrooms, or experience issues after heavy storms, your system may be outdated. Frequent breaker trips, buzzing sounds, or visible corrosion on panels are strong indicators your Harrisonville home could benefit from electrical improvements.

Helpful?

Electrical upgrades in Harrisonville can impact interconnected systems like HVAC, sump pumps, or security devices, especially in homes with finished basements or smart features. If you’re planning to add major appliances, install a generator, or upgrade your main panel, review how these changes might affect your heating, cooling, or water systems to ensure everything functions safely and efficiently in your Harrisonville home.
