"This is my first time leaving a review on this site but I just have to put in a good word for this painting team. "Max does great work! Hire him!! Our job was a bit tricky since it was adding in tile to join with our the existing backsplash after we got our new microwave installed so that created several challenges, but Max easily got it done! We were able to discuss with him options of tile patterns and if grout color choices mattered. I was surprised to learn patterns and colors do make a difference! We will definitely keep him in mind for any and all future tiling projects."

Any porous surface that will absorb the wash is a good candidate for limewash, although it won’t help much with waterproofing. If you choose to limewash over paint, you’ll need to prep before applying it to avoid a powdery, chalky finish. Shiny surfaces like metal or glass can’t absorb limewash, so it’s not suited for these.

The best finish for wrought iron railings is either a semi-gloss or a gloss sheen, as each offers good durability against rain, wind, heat, cold, and snow. 

Adding a second coat of stain to wood can even out the color to some extent, but it won't drastically alter the hue if the initial application is too light or too dark. It's more effective at enhancing the richness of the color rather than significantly changing it. Ensure the first coat is dry before applying the second.
