I learned building trades from my father as a child and worked with him in construction for 8 years building houses from the ground up including plumbing, wiring, concrete, cabinetry, etc. from framing to finish. I have completed my own additions, remodeling, and repairs for the last 30 years. "The owner of the came first to my house to determine the scope of the work I wanted performed. His employee, a journeyman, came the next day and checked the electric panels and all the outlets in the house to ensure they were in good working order, grounded when appropriate, etc. He installed two additional CFIs, replaced the electric sockets in two places and an old switch, and also replaced an outdoors outlet (adding a weatherproof cover). In addition, he installed a new ceiling fan/lights when it was determined my old one was going out. He did not pressure me to do anything, and explained fully what he was doing, asking me for guidance throughout on how I wished to proceed. Though he was a swift worker, he was here for a good part of the day. He was friendly and polite. I would hire this small company again."
