A & P Home Electric

The owner of the came first to my house to determine the scope of the work I wanted performed. His employee, a journeyman, came the next day and checked the electric panels and all the outlets in the house to ensure they were in good working order, grounded when appropriate, etc. He installed two additional CFIs, replaced the electric sockets in two places and an old switch, and also replaced an outdoors outlet (adding a weatherproof cover). In addition, he installed a new ceiling fan/lights when it was determined my old one was going out. He did not pressure me to do anything, and explained fully what he was doing, asking me for guidance throughout on how I wished to proceed. Though he was a swift worker, he was here for a good part of the day. He was friendly and polite. I would hire this small company again.

Arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently. They were friendly, professional and solved our immediate problem. Gave good suggestions for additional work that we may need to do in the future. I appreciated their safety procedures in working with electricity. Price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely call them again.

I have someone electrical work, it was Art Davis and the company is called Home Electric. I haven't done anything recent but I have an upcoming job and I am planning to hire him to do it again. Art Davis is the electrician and his company was Home electric. I liked everything about the service. They showed up on time. They got the job done right the first time without any issues. It was a good price and good work. There was nothing that I disliked about them.

Went well and as expected

The owner and 2 helpers came out and worked on troubleshooting the problem for about two hours. They finally found the problem and took care of replacing some sockets. The price was really reasonable and they didn't charge extra for the additional 2 people. I was really impressed with their work.

I called them and they came out right away. They fixed the problem and purchased all of the parts. They even provided an invoice showing the prices for each part. They were professional, reasonably priced, and cleaned up well.

Art Davis (whose name I got from Angies to begin with) provided an upfront phone estimate, and stuck with me through the closing process on the home during which the existing owners forbade any access in order to provide a more accurate estimate. The day after closing he showed up on time at the house and provided an estimate for the work that was well within line with his original phone based guesstimate. On installation day, he and his crew showed up on time and though running into a few minor unexpected problems finished all but the labeling on the new breakers that same day. This minor task was taken care of the next morning. Overall, he provided and high level of expert professional service and if I need further work done by a licensed electrician I will most certainly use him and his crew again. Highest possible ratings for this guy.

Everything was excellent. It was great. It took less than an hour. They called and came when they said they’d be here so the schedule was great. The technician was friendly and quite capable in what he was doing.

Company was prompt and on time. Worked for two hours and only charged me for one hour. No problems since.

We used Aand P Home Electric back in November 2009. Because of our good experience with them back in November we used them again for a rental property we are taking care of for our son. We were very pleased with the work that, Art, the owner, and his assistant did to our son's home. They were both on time, very friendly and installed everything perfectly to our satisfaction. Del City housing inspector demanded that the kitchen and bathroom outlets be brought up-to-date before renting the house out. The inspector came to inspect their work and gave us the official form that the work had been done to the satisfaction of Del City. Art and his assistant are hard workers and nice and easy going guys. They guarantee their work and won't leave until you're fully satisfied. I highly recommend Aand P Home and Electric for all of your electrical needs as they can do it all.

They did a great job. I would use them again. They came in at the last minute and were able to finish a job another company had started. The prior company ripped me off so it was very refreshing to have found Art. I appreciate their hard work, and they worked on the weekend when I needed to get the job done.

Art, the owner, is a down to earth guy. He came out to give us the bid when he said he would and showed up on time when he said he would to do the job. Art and his worker are very friendly and will do whatever they can to make you satisfied. Their bid was $1500.00 cheaper than the first bid we got from Home Depot. Home Depot doesn't actually do the work but they have companies they contract with. Stunning the price difference in the two bids! We had another company on Angie's list come out and bid and his bid was only $200.00 more than Aand P's but the guy who came out to give the bid was not very friendly or talkative. We weren't looking for the cheapest bid, we wanted someone who we had confidence in and Art with Aand P was the guy we felt most confident in. He's a big fella and doesn't look like he's a "professional", but trust me, he is. We really enjoyed having Art and his assistant working for us and look forward to using him again for any of electrical needs in the future.

Very professional. Got to the job quick and had it done fast. Cleaned up the entire job and did not leave a mess. They also stuck by their estimate. The amount they quoted was the amount I was asked to pay, no hidden charges or inflated labor costs. They had the right amount of personnel for the job and the right tools to get the work done. Would highly recommend these folks in the future and I will not use anyone else.

Everything went great. I have a house from the 1930's. They were able to move the electric service to the side of the house (code). Update the breaker, and all the conduit for 200 amp service. They also provide power to my attic, for a new AC unit I installed. So over all very well done. It looks great. The price paid was higher than the $2000.00 estimate because there were extra things that had to be done.

I would say that Home Electric is very honest, and the people who do the work for them have come into our house for 8 years or more on and off. They are honest and really try to satisfy you. Sometimes they have underbid but stuck to their estimate they gave.

I am very pleased with the electrical work performed by Home Electric. I also enjoy the fact that they will come out and do service calls on Saturdays. Always show up on time and take great pride in their work. Very friendly individuals as well.
