Last summer we were looking to sell my teenage daughter's "first-time-driver" car. It ran ok, but looked very sad from the outside -- dings and dents and missing trim; a partially detached passenger side mirror. I was able to say, I have a strict budget of $200 -- can you spend it wisely and make this car look the best that it can resale. I don't many places who would A) do much of anything in that price range and B) actually appreciate the challenge and spiff it up. I was really impressed and that's probably the 10th time I've used them in as many years. Good people. Honest people. Always willing to write up an estimate and walk you through options. This involved chiseling concrete and laying pipe and floor drain very precisely to fit the drain opening in the new base. When all was ready they removed the packing from the new shower then very carefully did a mock set up of the pieces in my garage to be sure all the parts, big glass doors to intricate connectors that hold everything together. This took a lot of time and patience but in the end, saved time during the real installation. A piece at a time, in the order determined from the mock set up, the parts were taken to the bathroom, beginning with the base, which required cement fill around the new floor plumbing. Then the plastic sheets were glued to the walls and sealed around the perimeters with permanent caulk. These blended very smoothly into the walls above the panels. The door was a tricky part of the process; everything depended on it fitting precisely against two narrow glass panels. This was done with connectors and metal strips around the top of the shower and special connectors that I couldn't understand at all. I was only an observer and had to stay out of the way in a small bathroom, so I missed the final stages of assembly and testing the shower itself and checking for leaks. They asked me to come and check the final job. There was a lot of concrete breaking plus dust from that, and construction junk that needed to be cleaned up. So I was surprised to see the job finished, the shower, including all the glass cleaned and polished, the walls of the bathroom cleaned with a wet cloth, all the dust and dirt in the adjoining bed room, the floor vacuumed--everything spotless.

After a few minutes where she (the employee) brought dresses to a different side of the store I was asked to sign in by filling out a piece of paper work with my contact information. I asked for my grooms information, my facebook information, and my parents information if they were involved. It also asked what my budget for dresses was. While I did this the others with me looked at dresses. We were told we could use a back room, which had a large mirror and several hooks to hang the dresses, and a small changing room with one small mirror. The salesperson showed me the different colors the various brands came in, and how different dresses could be similar but fit different body types. Then she left us alone. We pulled at least ten dresses and my sister (the bridesmaid) began trying them on. After the first dress I asked for clips. The sales person was sitting at the front desk talking to some people who had some in, but didn't appear to be shopping (maybe waiting on someone?). She said they had clips but weren't very good. She have me two, and she was right, they were weak. We then tried on all the other gowns. As my sister tried on the last dress I found a catalog and me and my friend began to look at it. We asked what my sister thought of one shoulder dresses, and were informed they made her look funny, and she didn't like them. With in seconds the sales person brought in a one shoulder dress and said \"here is one with one shoulder if you want to try it\". That is when we asked for catalogs for the different brands, and left. The sales person asked what dresses we liked the best, so she could at least write that down. All said and done we were not there more than 45 minutes. Since I live in Columbia and it takes nearly an hour to drive to Tipton, it wasn't worth our time. It shop floor is crowded with dresses, and you have to be careful not to run into other people, or a dress stand."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/mo/tipton/dala%27s-bridal-boutique-reviews-4825271.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"BRICKSLAYER MASONRY","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"MO","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Richard H."},"reviewBody":"Mr. Coffman is a true professional who took great pride and care in his work. FAQs for glass and mirror service projects in Columbia, MO
The cost to repair a window is $400 on average, with prices ranging from $75 to $1,500, depending on the window size, the broken part, and the window type. Broken glass and window frames are typically the most expensive window repairs, while minor fixes like repairing the track, seal, and sash are more affordable.
Other cost factors include:
Number of panes
Window material
Accessibility
Labor costs
Emergency window repair
Stained glass window repairs cost about $300 on average. Typical prices range from $65 to $800, depending on the size, location, repairs needed, and whether you need to fully or partially replace the window. Full stained glass window replacements can cost $700 to $5,000per panel.
The repair type also impacts repair costs:
Crack: $100–$300
Faded glass: $100–$300
Regrouting: $200–$500
Cement replacement: $200–$500
New window frame: $200–$500
Cleaning: $300–$600
Resoldering joints: $500–$1,500
Replacing reinforcing bars: $700–$3,000
Yes, you can repair a damaged or cracked mirror with a repair kit. However, DIY mirror repairs are best suited for minor cracks and chips in the glass, whereas you may need to hire a glass repair contractor to fix a large, valuable mirror with extensive damage. To repair minor glass issues, use a resin-based repair kit and be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for best results. You can also remove scratches from glass with metal polish, nail polish, baking soda, or glass polisher.
For most common repairs, a professional window repair service can fix a window in one to three hours. However, replacing window frames or repairing a large, multi-pane window will likely take longer to complete. For comparison, a window installation or repair professional should be able to replace up to 15 windows per day.
The type of window repairs required significantly impacts the project cost. It’s always best to hire a local window repair company for this kind of work.
The most common window parts that need repair include:
Broken seal or fogginess between panes: $70–$245
Cracked pane: $40–$100
Broken glass: $200–$2,000
Sash, seal, or track: $200–$600
Latch or hardware: $75–$200
Broken window frame: $175–$1,000
Replace window screen: $140–$480
