"Jeremiah came out and tested the air and moisture and other items to determine if I had mold in my basement. After getting the test results there was evidence of mold and he recommended a company that provides a do it yourself kit for mold remediation. (Not cheap). After getting the items and realizing that there was more work, it would have been better for me to let my insurance company handle this as I do have coverage for mold/fungi. Though having a professional do the work is expensive, from what Jeremiah mentioned, it does not guarantee that the work will be complete or the source of the problem taken care of. He mentioned most companies will take care of the mold but not necessarily the cause of the mold. For this I would have to contact another company."

"Highly HIGHLY recommend Spencer and his team. I had been having some severe respiratory issues for several months after a water damage and his easy to read test results confirmed my suspicions of mold. He immediately contacted my insurance company to advocate for housing arrangements for me and my pets. The treatment was quick compared to old methods and my health started making huge improvements in just a few days time. That alone was so worth it - beyond grateful to be getting my home and my health back."

"We bought a house last February Dash the previous owners had really neglected it and there was quite a bit of mold in the basement. This company came to our house, tested all over the basement, then came back and did a thorough treatment on every wall, even going so far as to cut out pieces of drywall that had enough mold that the treatment could not find it. Then they did a follow up months later at no charge. Everything was very thorough, they even came out one time to treat an area that they had missed before without charging us. They are very honest and do excellent work, and our basement Feels and smells a lot better! And we rest easier knowing our house is much safer without the mold."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

Hiring a professional for mold and toxic material testing ensures precise identification of harmful substances within a home. Professionals utilize specialized equipment and techniques, providing accurate results that inform proper removal strategies, safeguarding occupant health.

If you're wondering about black stains on brick at your home, the answer is that you're not looking at efflorescence. While efflorescence can be darker when certain types of salt are involved, black staining is caused by carbon staining, pollution from vehicles, and chimney soot. Black stains can also be caused by organic materials like lichen, algae, or mold.

Turn off the water main immediately. Hire a professional plumber to check on your pipes and make any replacements so you avoid water damage. You don’t want to take any risks with flooding, so it’s best to consult a professional plumber as quickly as possible.

Homes built before the 1990s may contain asbestos, but the only way to be sure is to have your home tested. Hire an asbestos testing and removal service to determine whether you have the hazardous material in your home and the best process for removing or sealing it.

Although you can run a DIY test for mold inside your home by buying a test kit, you won’t know whether the strain of mold is dangerous. The best way to test for mold in a home is to hire a professional who can determine the specific type of mold that you have. If you’re worried you exposed yourself to mold and it’s making you ill, you could request a health test. Your personal doctor could test your urine, take a nasal swab, or test some body tissue to determine your potential exposure to mold.
