"We love our new fence, it looks awesome! Rob and his crew did a great job! I would recommend him to anyone needing a fence. We have a big yard but they tore out the old fence and had the new privacy fence done in 2 days. We went with the pre stained cedar and it was even better than we expected."

"The crew was very efficient and hard-working. They worked from early morning into the late evening to get the fence installed in a day. The fence is beautiful and really enhances the appearance of the yard."

"From filling out the online for to inquire, to the estimate, to the actual work being done was lightning fast. I was contacted the day after filling a form. They sent an estimator to my home quickly. They provided a detailed estimate for the fence as well as plans for me to look over and approve. The estimate for install after I approved their quote was 4-5 weeks out, which would have put us to June 22 for install. They contacted me about a week PRIOR to that date to see if they could install sooner! It was moved up by about 5 days and we could not be happier with it. The fence itself is cedar, was installed within a few hours. The installers were friendly. They explained what they were doing, how the latch in the gate worked, and made sure I had no other questions prior to leaving the jobsite. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. From first contact through completion, I felt well taken care of. The work is quality, the people friendly, and service was excellent"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Proper fence installation in Blue Springs includes posts set at least 30 inches deep to resist frost heave and spaced no more than 8 feet apart for wind stability. Galvanized or coated hardware is used to withstand humidity, and the fence line is graded for drainage in clay soil. All necessary permits and inspections are completed, and materials like cedar or pressure-treated wood are chosen for durability in Missouri’s climate.

Helpful?

In Blue Springs, backyard perimeter fencing and privacy fencing are most likely to need attention due to freeze-thaw cycles and strong winds. Pool enclosures must remain up to code for safety, while front yard decorative fencing often suffers from snow removal and salt exposure. Gate hardware, corner posts, and fencing along busy streets also require routine inspection because of shifting clay soil and increased suburban development.

Helpful?

During a fencing project in Blue Springs, professionals carefully assess property lines, utility easements, and drainage patterns due to the region’s clay soil. Mature trees and existing landscaping are reviewed to minimize disruption. Slope and grading are considered, especially on uneven lots. Attention is also given to shared fence lines, neighbor relations, and HOA compliance zones, as these factors can influence fence placement and overall project scope.

Helpful?

When planning a fencing project in Blue Springs, homeowners should anticipate costs for private utility locating, extra excavation for dense clay soil, and permit fees for taller or specialty fences. Neighborhoods with HOAs may require approval and review charges. Drainage adjustments and tree root removal are often necessary due to mature landscaping. Property surveys for setback compliance can also arise, so it’s smart to include these possibilities in your planning.

Helpful?

For fencing projects in Blue Springs, professionals start by reviewing property records and locating physical survey markers, which can be hidden in clay soil. If boundaries are unclear, a land survey may be arranged, especially in older neighborhoods. They consult with neighbors for shared lines, verify setback requirements, and map out utility easements. HOA guidelines are also checked to ensure the new fence installation meets all neighborhood standards.
