I am a Journeyman Union Carpenter by trade but after 15 years left it to pursue other things. I have had rental properties and done hundreds of property rehabs and remodels over the years. I have a working knowledge of plumbing and electrical and I take pride in my work. I also rehab and refinish antique wood furniture and build custom furniture out of old wood and recycled materials. No job is too small and I enjoy meeting all the people that this kind of work leads me too.

I mainly work by myself unless the project to much to handle by myself. Please call me if interested. I prefer to quote prices after seeing what I will be working on to make sure I am charging you an accurate and fair price.

"I cannot say enough good things about the owner of this business. He is a perfectionist, has a great eye for detail and goes above and beyond to insure your satisfaction. Would recommend without hesitation. Thanks Richie for keeping my yard something to be proud of. My neighbors comment on how good it looks all of the time."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

DIY is risky and not recommended for large trees; professional services ensure safe removal and proper disposal.

If a disease has attacked and destroyed the roots, then the tree may fall over as soon as it has died or while part of it is still alive. Trees that die with their roots left in place tend to stay standing for much longer, but those roots will decay eventually, allowing gravity to do the rest.

It will take you anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours per tree stump to grind and remove the stump from the ground. The larger the size, the longer it will take to remove the stump. Also, keep in mind that rocky soil may require local excavation services to loosen up large boulders before you can begin to remove the tree stump.

There are many ways to cut through roots when digging, especially if your trencher doesn’t seem to be removing the roots. First, use a shovel to expose the roots. Then, use gardening shears to clear out smaller roots or a reciprocating saw to remove larger plant roots. If you plan on keeping the plant, avoid cutting any roots over 2 inches thick.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.
