"It has been a pleasure to do business with Ahmed construction. They provide very fair price on bidding. The administrative project manager Mr Albert is a hard working guy. Him along with the Mr Judy did the decking and replaced some studs on an addition remodel project. I highly recommend Ahmed construction and I will hire them again for any future project"

"We are selling our house and needed some quick help replacing a good portion of our siding and soffit missing from wind storms earlier this year. Kevin had great communication, professionalism, and he completed our project as quickly as his schedule and material availability would allow. He showed up when he said he would and the results are awesome. He even went above and beyond to make things look better when the exact match wasn't available for the entire project. We would definitely hire Kamo Exteriors again!"

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Stucco repair can best be described as a patch. It involves identifying the problem and fixing that specific damage with additional stucco. If no mold infiltration or an underlying leak is causing the damage, repair is most likely all you need.

Remediation, on the other hand, involves removing the existing siding, fixing the underlying cause of the damage, and then reapplying stucco siding for that wall. It’s a more permanent fix that takes longer to complete and, hence, comes with a steeper price tag than repair.

One of the most significant downsides to stucco is the installation cost, which is higher than that of many other siding options because getting it to look clean and professional is a labor-intensive process. Stucco can also absorb water, making it an unsuitable option for siding in areas that see excessive rainfall. Finally, stucco can crack and chip, especially in extreme weather, and repairs are not only challenging and require help from a professional who does stucco, but can get expensive.

The best adhesive that works on stucco is usually a product specified for use on stucco or concrete surfaces. The adhesive will need to be strong to grip the stucco, but should also wipe away clean when used in a temporary application. You can also consider using super glue or hot glue on stucco.

Damage is often caused by moisture, impact, or settling. Regular maintenance prevents significant issues.

Tools include trowels, floats, and patching compounds. Professionals use these for precise and durable repairs.
