During the initial contact I sent pictures and Jerry gave me an estimate of the work with a detail description of the problem and what it would take to fix it. His knowledge and responsiveness instilled great confidence and trust. It's obvious this man knows a lot about how houses work and how to fix things. He also quickly picked up that I understand some about handywork and he engaged me in that conversation--never speaking down to me. Jerry sent Dave, the handyman, to do the job and he was meticulous and efficient. "We have used, and recommended, RTD for a few years and have always liked their work. However, after the treatment from the company this year, we'll NEVER work with or recommend them again. We had them come out and stain our deck and pergola. They broke our large storage box on the deck to the point we had to replace it. They knew about the damaged property from the pictures I sent them, and never acknowledged it. After staining our pergola, several large stains were left on the concrete patio. After emailing them and not hearing back for 2 weeks, I called and was told that someone would come out to clean the concrete. They did, however, it did not remove any of the staining. My husband called and left messages, none of which were answered. Their services aren't cheap and we were repeat customers. Our cement patio was not cheap and now, thanks to them, is ruined. Do NOT use this company if you are looking for quality work and quality customer service."
