"We replaced the windows in our 1933 home through the services of MadCity Windows. From the initial contact with their sales representative to final installation, the company provided top notch professional work. With the draft from the old windows and the cold of the glass, we are already saving on our energy bills. Our house had old, large windows, so they had to be custom made. As an industrial designer and interior designer, we find our windows to be of excellent quality."

"All Craft replaced three windows in the living room of my 150-year-old house -- one of the oldest houses in Rochester. I could not be more pleased! I was afraid to replace windows for fear of destroying the look of the house, but the windows they installed are perfect! They are at least a thousand percent more efficient than the old ones, but blend into the existing look perfectly -- the house looks even better than it did before! The whole experience with All Craft from the first phone call asking for an estimate to the finished product has been a delight!"
BEFORE- A beauty looking a bit past it's prime with leaking windows and peeling paint.

BEFORE: Peeling paint, water damage to the walls and foundation, and leaky windows were causing this house to show her age.

"Great windows, great service. Had an issue replacing a huge indoor/outdoor terrarium with a Pella Window This was a difficult transition, which I feared might not be possible. Enver and Big Mike fabricated a new window jamb and with artful skill they did a great job. They showed up on the minute of the appointment, were very gracious and friendly, and allayed my fears this might not be possible. A+"

"Overall was a great experience, I learned a lot of useful knowledge about the company and the windows they had to offer. I signed a contract with the Sales Consultant James Callahan in January of 2024. From my understanding, at that time they were short handed on a Production Manager, so they had a PM come out from another state and he had miss measured all 21 of my windows. Long story short they had to reorder all of them and get them shipped so they could get them installed. Original install date was suppose to be in April but finally got them installed in August by Rick. Rick did a fantastic job installing and I would highly recommend this company, their product, and their installation crews. I can already tell that these windows make a night and day difference in efficiency and with keeping the house quieter from all the traffic outside. If you need windows, then this is the place to find them!"

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Their thickness depends on application, but most glass walls are typically 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch thick. Although it’s not as common, single panes of glass can also be 1 inch thick.

Black spots on the bottom or along the edge of your bathroom mirror are caused by oxidation behind the mirror glass. When moisture and air are trapped between the glass and the backing, they react and cause discoloration. This is sometimes referred to as “mirror rot.” You’ll need to separate the glass and the backing to fully remove it.

Start by attaching the mirror to a wall stud if possible. Next, use appropriate hardware for the mirror's size and the wall material. That could look like drywall anchors, toggle bolts, or self-drilling anchors to ensure a strong hold. Additionally, D-rings or hanging brackets are more secure than a nail. You can also use mirror adhesive to secure small or larger mirrors with a vanity as a base.

A window may fail because of age, defective mechanisms, or moisture. Depending on the issue, the window may be fixed with simple repairs. Otherwise, you’ll have to invest in replacing it. You can avoid damaged windows but keeping up with window maintenance.

Despite their popularity and modern styling, glass railings have a few drawbacks. The first is their high initial cost. While they cost little to maintain, they can be costly to install. Also, scratches and chips in the glass are highly visible and require repairs. Additionally, glass railings require frequent cleaning to maintain their good looks.
