"I Hired Decked out Decks to pour footings and frame a simple deck. They were inline with a few of the "less expensive" contractors, but appeared to be a company that could get the job done as well as any others, and were at my house immediately after contacting them. After clearing up contract disputes, they showed up with only one laborer, and that person didn't know how to build a deck, it was actually only one of his jobs. It took them over 1.5 weeks to finish the footings and framing. Neighbors said there were a LOT of breaks and slow work. Taking into account the cost of all the wood that was damaged (a LOT) and due to MANY errors, their price ended up actually much higher than other quotes I received. Also, they had to use my ladders and tools, and I helped them for 2 full days to get the work completed! Once the deck framing was completed, it turned out that there were many errors that I found and fixed. I have experience building decks, but was hoping to hire someone to build it without me intervening, this was not the case. And they expected me to pay for very expensive errors (such as cutting all the posts the incorrect height."

Right now we are only doing full kitchen and bathroom remodels. Women Owned Construction Company. We are a fully licensed general contractor and our owner has 20+ years of experience remodeling homes and has two degrees in architecture. We work with our clients to establish project plans that work for their budget.

"Prima Construction was on time, on budget, super responsive and gave us a great modern design in our bathroom and master bedroom. Kim worked closely with us to stay on budget and find the quality materials we wanted. She gave us weekly reports on progress and followed up with us to make sure the renovation was just what we wanted. She started the project by telling us her main goal was to make us happy and we are!"

Yares Renovation Services is an experienced Insurance Restoration and Renovation Company here in the Twin Cities. Fire and water restoration, kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, we are the right team to get the job done!

"Tony and Myles from Yares Renovation Services came through in a horror like situation - the awful water bubble bulging in the wall. They provided expert advice through each step of the fix, was prompt and kind in their responses, and really was looking for the best possible outcome for me. They patched the roof twice upon insurance's requirements, and finally was able to come and replace the roof, which had apparently been patched up to less than code in the past from a previous owner. We now no longer have a leak and will have a much better house. No more worries about the roof over our head thanks to Yares!"

Sunrooms and Patios questions, answered by experts

Whether a prefab sunroom is worth it will depend on each homeowner’s unique needs and preferences. Overall, prefab sunrooms are a wallet-friendly, speedy, and reliable option for individuals looking to get some vitamin D in a simply-designed yet sunny space. Not to mention, sunrooms can increase your home’s value and the enjoyment you feel at home.

Generally speaking, yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom will add value to your home, as you’ll be increasing your square footage and adding utility to the space. The average ROI for enclosing a patio is around 70%, which is higher than many other home improvement projects. The value you get from creating a sunroom on your patio will depend on several factors, though, like the quality of the materials you choose, the extent to which the space is finished, your remaining yard space, and more.

If you have multiple rooms that could use some organization, home storage solutions like cubbies in your mudroom or built-in shelving can help you move clutter off the floor. Take it one step further by pairing shelves and cabinets with personalized aesthetic touches like woven or canvas lined metal baskets to add another organizational element.

Yes, it can be worth screening a porch if you live in an area with beautiful weather, since it allows you to enjoy your outdoor space longer in the spring and summer. The additional protected space may even attract more prospective buyers if you intend to sell—especially if you add seasonal features, like a ceiling fan for summer or a heater to winterize your screened porch.

Aluminum, vinyl, and wood all offer unique benefits for durability and aesthetics.
