Evolve Landscaping LLC's goal is to provide a landing spot for the area’s landscaping questions and service needs in a friendly and professional manner. We want to help EVOLVE client’s landscapes to raise their value, cultivate their beauty, and improve their functionality. We strive to provide client smiles by working both smarter and harder, finding creative solutions, and completing projects with integrity and craftsmanship. From consulting to maintenance. Designing. Building. Improving. We use quality materials and buy as local as we can. If we supply the plants, they come only from local garden centers and nurseries. We install aluminum edging instead of the common black plastic edging. We use premium polymeric sands, fabrics and masonry adhesive not found in box stores. We can locate and install block from many of the major companies, many of which are manufactured in MN. These brands include London Products, Borgert Products, Rochester Concrete Products, Anchor Block, Versa-lok, Willow Creek Pavers, and more.

"Let me start this by saying that I'm a detail oriented guy. I work in the mechanical trades, and I'm very familiar with the practices used by contractors. Both good and bad. With that in mind, I needed to hire someone to redo a very poor landscaping job that I inherited. I looked at a small handful of companies that I knew to have a good reputation. Groundworks is a family operated business. I met initially with Gary, who owns it along with his wife. He provided an initial estimate, and was clear about what would be done. He uses his own employees, no sub-contractors or temporary help. In fact, his son Chris was the crew leader on my project. With more than 20 years of experience, I was in good hands with Chris. The scope of the project was initially smaller than the end result due to the hidden issues that were uncovered when work got under way. Gary and Chris worked with me to correct those problems at a price that was more than fair given the time and effort involved. His crew was polite and wasted no time sitting around despite the brutally hot weather. The end result was beautiful. Do yourself a favor and give them an opportunity to provide an estimate. We are a family owned business with 6 fulltime employess, we specialize in restoration, and new concrete and landscape projects throughout the metro.

"Tracer determined a dry creek bed would correct the wet area in our back yard. They completed the work, adding a rock pile in front of the dry creek bed, which was not agreed upon. This solution did not fix the problem. Our back yard is still wet, grass does not grow and it is very unsightly. When we contacted Tracer landscaping they were resistive to listen and correct the problem stating it was not their issue. The representative has abandoned our project, has not returned phone calls and we are seeking a different landscaping company for help to correct. Our back yard is a mess! The french drain was not installed correctly and we struggled to get sod to grow. Again Tracer landscaping stated it was not their problem. I would not recommend this landscaping company for any project."
