He was here for two hours and recommended a few service's as we had some cracks in the crown of the fireplace and some moss growing on the brick. This was proven by the pictures he took.( I had also pointed out a small stain on the ceiling next to the fire place). I have already made an appointment to get those repairs done. "No category on here for chimneys, but we hired Absolute Masonry to work on the two chimneys on our 1887 Queen Anne Victorian in Minneapolis. Our roofline is very high and lots of difficult peaks and valleys. They rebuilt one chimney and took down one chimney to the roof line and then re-roofed over that spot. Jason reached out two days prior to the scheduled start date and let us know they could start a day early if we'd like. Great communication with Jason and his team throughout the project. Very professional. The finished project exceeded our expectations. After not raining all summer, it rained every day they were here and they still got the job done early. Chris, the owner, reviewed my project needs, suggested block style and color, described the process in detail and provided an estimate.  To ensure I would be satisfied with the color choice, he directed me to another project he completed in my area where the same block was used.  The selection was perfect and I hired Artistic Landscapes. 

The crew arrived on time and completed the project as planned. Chris was on site throughout the project to answer any questions I might have and to ensure all was on track.  The effort entailed removal of the existing flagstone wall, digging and setting a base, and removal of left-over flagstone and soil. They also had to accommodate my gutter drainpipe, and I was impressed with their solution. The team was professional, well organized and efficient.
