"Great! When the tech, Randy, is done, he gives us a “tour” of the chimney interior using a closed circuit camera on extension polls connected back to a monitor and computer so we can see for ourselves it’s condition. He vacuums out the fire box and has replaced broken tiles."

Customers say: True professional

"We are overwhelmed with the excellent work of this family owned company. We just moved and needed a complicated fireplace repair. Jason, the owner, and his 2 sons spent 10 hours at our home choosing the brick, installing it, blending it in beautifully with the old existing brick. They were beyond awesome! We never expected the finished project to look so good. They cleaned up everything and were so professional. We would rate them way beyond a 5 star! We had 3 other bids on this project and they gave us the best price. Iâ m passing their name around the neighborhoodð Mary & Pete Arden Hills, MN [email protected]"

"We worked with Jim and Warners Outdoor Solutions to relandscape our yard and install a backyard stamped concrete patio. Jim and his team was very knowledgeable and customer friendly. They delivered their services in a timely manner and quickly addressed any concerns that we had. I would highly recommend then for any lawn or landscaping needs. They were not the cheapest but I believe you get what you pay for and in the end we had beautiful landscaping and stamped concrete project that was done very well."

"

Chris, the owner, reviewed my project needs, suggested block style and color, described the process in detail and provided an estimate.  To ensure I would be satisfied with the color choice, he directed me to another project he completed in my area where the same block was used.  The selection was perfect and I hired Artistic Landscapes.

The crew arrived on time and completed the project as planned. Chris was on site throughout the project to answer any questions I might have and to ensure all was on track.  The effort entailed removal of the existing flagstone wall, digging and setting a base, and removal of left-over flagstone and soil. They also had to accommodate my gutter drainpipe, and I was impressed with their solution. The team was professional, well organized and efficient.

It looks great!  I have no hesitation recommending this company!

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Although you can put a smoke detector on a shelf, the NFPA recommends mounting one on the ceiling or a wall (within 12 inches of the ceiling). If you place your smoke alarm on a shelf, ensure it’s away from drafty, damp, or dusty areas and not near cooking appliances, heat sources, or fluorescent lights.

Regular HVAC filter changes, deep cleaning, and air quality monitoring help maintain a healthy environment.

No. Pellet stoves are specifically designed to burn manufactured wood or biomass pellets. Attempting to burn other materials, such as regular firewood or paper products, can damage the stove, compromise its efficiency, and even pose safety hazards due to inconsistent combustion and increased emissions. It's crucial to follow manufacturer guidelines and only use pellets that are specifically recommended for your pellet stove model to ensure safe and optimal performance over its life span.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) says you can place smoke detectors on either the ceiling or the wall, depending on the setup of your room. Since smoke rises, the ceiling makes sense, but if you go with a wall mounting, the alarm should be installed high up—no less than 12 inches from the ceiling.

While a hot fire can help heat up and loosen tar within your chimney, making it a recommended step before using a creosote log, it will not burn off significant existing buildup on its own. Attempting to remove built-up creosote with a hot fire is dangerous and can cause a chimney fire. For safe and effective removal of caked-on creosote, the best approach is to hire a professional chimney sweep.
